Whew, been a while!

Hi Ladies, it's been a while. Missed you gals.

After mom passed away in March life became a whirlwind of trying to deal with her estate, then my honey and I went to FL for a restoration vacation to the same little town where my folks lived for almost 30 years. It's always felt like a second home and it made me feel closer to them. While we were there we looked at a little condo on the Intracoastal waterway thats about eight blocks from the beach, it was a great deal so we decided to buy; went down and closed in July then back down in September with a load of some stuff so we had a place to sleep! We're going down for three weeks over the holidays and our 25th anniversary, then my honey found out her request to telecommute was approved so we'll leave Illinois permanently in May!!!

Holy moly, nice rig!! If we hadn't paid cash for the condo I'd be on the phone! Fingers crossed we can find a nice clean set up once the coffers have been replenished.

It's been a strange few months for sure. I thought I was prepared for losing mom since I'd already lost my dad. But they lived in F L back then and we chatted on the phone now and then and I saw him at the holidays... with mom she was my day to day responsibility for over six years. It's taken me some time to reestablish my equilibrium.

Things are going great overall though, we are happy, mostly healthy, and so looking forward to the future!
