Uh oh,it's Friday the 13th and by golly it's morning ! Well...it's wee early in the Morning...my darling Joe has us all up..and we ain't happy !

I don't have too much to say..cause I'm in the strange mood of lack of sleep..however, I did watch Survivor..Yep, I'm addicted to Real TV.. like them scheming shows..can't trust NOBODY..but ya play the game.wooo hooo..do ya play...but gosh..those poor kids..if they don't get it together they starve..now that's some nasty asp diet..wow.. but ya know it sure teaches them real life....the way of the world unfortunately.. ..hence my Black Cat with Atittude..Loves her..and ya know it has to be a She.. cause we women can sure survive..

Sparkle you gals look like you did a great job on replacing that screen..had to do a few of them.. now I put up a guard in front of the screen ..so I didn't have to keep buying rolls of screen... LOL

Sunshine Cruiser (Carolyn) asks about a Cat Eye type monitor system.. I have a Pressure Pro..and do love it..but did ya do a google search on it..??? So I

Ok..I'm gonna head into the kitchen and throw together a crumb cake as my cubbard is bare... and nothing finer than a good crumb cake for morning breakfast..along with a great cup of Coffee.. and Perked too.. LOL Kettle is Whistling and so am I.. hahahaha... so come out come out where ever ya are.

GOOD MORNING BARB, AND ALL!!

Very cold at 5 below zero here this morning! And I had forgotten it is another Friday the 13th! My woodstove is roaring again now, coffee tastes great, and Molly is sacked out by the warmth of the fire! I have an extra hour as it's Superintendents' Conference Day for us teachers, and no kids will be there early for me to open the library and computer lab. So hot bathtub here I come! And I get to leave in the daylight again!

I hope everyone has a great day and makes this Friday the 13th a GOOD luck day!

Off I go to read posts! Thanks for the coffee which I will drink, and goodies, which I will force myself to leave for the next person!

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Well........and here I am at freaking 3:38 in the dang morning. Gads I am hating these middle of the night potty runs. I wake up to go potty and I come so wide awake any more! I am really wondering if a cork would do any good or not??? Jeeze

What a waste of time yesterday waiting for the people to come look at the house for renting. 3 kids all in their 20's. A black couple in their young 20's and a white guy maybe mid 20's. I really don't see them renting the house. But boy oh boy!!! This place hasn't looked this good in a while!! David and I did a bang up job cleaning and putting things away. Kelly we let sleep cause of going into work. But David and I both took off from work, he's sicker than sick with a bad head cold. He works at Olive Garden and I told him the way he was sneezing and blowing his nose that they probably wouldn't really want him in there. Poor kid. I did manage to get Jenny to mop the kitchen floor!!!! And she changed out a couple of light bulbs in the bathroom. I also got her to vacuum the couch off!! (i think she's the one that did it??) That is the first time she has done that. Ohhhhhh, threw a hissy about all the animal hair. Says when they move into the other house that David's Honey dog and her cat are not going to be allowed on the couch any more. I would like to be a fly on the wall for that!!!

Jeeze! In the middle of writing this I fell asleep here at the table. Jenny woke me up at 7:30 cause my alarm was going off and woke her up. Maybe that's kinda what I get for being a truck driver and getting so use to taking naps over top of the steering wheel???

I did go to the doctors yesterday. Jenny found her BP cuff and checked my BP told me it was 212/98!!!!! Scared the crap out of me let me tell ya!!!! Got to the doctors office they checked it? Nah, sure the heck wasn't that bad. Wasn't good, but it sure wasn't what Jenny said it was. But anyway, Doc is now making me take the pills twice a day. She said what she prescribed me was a very low dosage so she upped it. Asked about the swelling of my ankles and hands? She looked at them and said I needed fluid pills? Let her know that I wasn't one that usually retained fluid and that it hadn't started until I started the BP meds. She put me on the fluid pills anyway. ???? I have another appointment Friday 3-20 at 9:30am.

So that was my day yesterday. Good one huh? LOL I'm hoping for better today. ~sigh~ I probably shouldn't? But I just can't resist a piece of that crumb cake Barbz made up. The smell has been driving me wild!!!! YUM!!

Good morning Zeee and all of our sisters!

Heat wave, a tropical heat wave!

it's warm here in the valley, Soos, ... all of 11°!

Sun is shining and the weekend is supposed to be great. Busy, though. Tonight will b'day gathering for my 19 y/o grandson who is home from college on a weeklong break. Tomorrow will be our girl's varsity regional game. I think if they win this they go to the state final four. The boys also play tomorrow but in a town over 2 hrs. away,... can't be in two places at once!

Then tomorrow night is an Irish festival. Local band Inisheer will be featured along with some young Irish dancers. Inisheer website is: http://www.inisheer.net/?mpf=frame& My friend Phyllis plays fiddle with them.

Sunday will be laundry, house cleaning, and all that fun stuff.....

Good morning ladies, and I am SO SO tired, spent the night chasing and looking
for my dogs!!
So, heres the story on that.............
I was on the computer, door open and dogs going in and out having a good time.
I look up and there is this man, short, bald dude, standing at my door, I come out
and notice he left the gate open and I have no idea who he is, but my dogs are
GONE! I grab leashes off the hook by the door and out the gate I run, nevermind
the man, I'm worried about my dogs. AND THEN............
I woke up.
Phew
so here I am having my coffee and reading posts, the dogs are all still sleeping,
they must be tired from running around all night

Love the cat, Barbz, really looks to be having a huge attitude! Boy, Ava, you had me concerned there for a min. and couldn't understand why you weren't concerned about baldy in your door way and how you just went right by him. You wake up really bright don't you? I loved it, my first laugh for the day, thanks !!
