Posting from my cell phone so will be short and sweet. No scale for me today. Retirement party for my sister yesterday. Too much fun!

Hope you all are doing well! Looking forward....

No change again. I am thinking about this issue but have not made the changes necessary to make the changes.......My clothes say I need to think very deep on this.......I need a commitment to myself.

Had my weigh-in this morning. I'm down another lb from last Tuesday. Now I'm 1.9 lbs away from my goal loss of 25 lbs! I'm on the stabilization part of the diet and still losing weight. I guess because I've been doing more exercising with the Wii. I'm doing the 10 minute jog now and am trying my hand (pun intended) at boxing. ;) :D

My scale tells me I have 1 pound to go to my goal of losing 5#. I got lots of exercise working in the yard the past 2 days, so imagine that helped. Also, my brother & SIL have been following a low carb diet, so we tried to stick to it while they were here. Once I reach this goal I will set a new goal to lose another 3#. Then it will be to maintain. Hopefully I'll be there before leving on our trip to AK.

The change in the weather is helping. Clothes feel different minus that extra heavy layer of sweatshirt or sweater. It makes me more mindful of my responsibility to my own health and ability to move comfortably. I am on the second day of not falling off any wagon.......I am always amazed at how much better I feel without the extras......but addictions are addictions, so it is one day/meal/snack at a time......

I had my second weigh-in for the week this morning. I was down .6 of a lb. Still 1.3 lbs to go to meet my goal weight loss, but a loss is a loss, so I'll except that! :D These last couple lbs are not wanting to leave me!! I idid get more foods added to my list, today. I can have pasta, beans, nuts and half of an English muffin or hamburger bun etc. I haven't looked at the list closely yet, but those were the foods I've been missing so they stood out! lol

Good job, Birdie (Tina). You go, girl!! I like your mindset.

Almost forgot my weigh-in today-----down one more pound, so I am happy. 4 pounds since we started. Slow, but steady is how it's going. I wish I had a digital scale so I could see parts of pounds! But a pound a week is good enough for me! Would love to make 5 pounds a week, of course, but oh well!!!

When I get to FL, I will hope to be able to put on a bathing suit without having to hide!

Onto the next week!

Way to go, Soosie!! I think my digital scale is going belly up. This morning it weighed me at 155, then if I moved it closer to me it weighed me at 157 and if I gave it a bit of a turn, it read 155 1/2! :) SO I weighed myself using the Wii and decided to use that from now on. It said 155 so I'm sticking with that!

I had my Red Hat Lady luncheon yesterday. We went out for breakfast at a little diner off the interstate. One of those that specializes in huge plates full of hash browns, gravy & biscuits etc. I thought I did pretty well and ordered scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast and asked about a side of fruit. They didn't offer that but I saw that they offered bananas with cereal so I asked if I could get a sliced banana over cottage cheese. The little waitress suggested a sprinkle of cinnamon over that, and I love cinnamon, so i concurred! It was really tasty, but the cook thought she was making it up that anyone would order and eat that! :o

In spite of the wind and rain, we still went after lunch to drive thru (instead of doing the walking tour), of our wildlife refuge. It still was loads of fun. We say lots of Canandian geese and ducks, 6 herons, 2 raccoons, a beaver and 3 swans.

Okay it's time I got serious about this. I bought a scale today and I weigh 122-1/4. That's about 10lbs over for my height and frame. So I'm seriously joining the battle with y'all. And Karen and Carole are here and we like to eat so its not going to be easy!

I'll second that one Liz! LOL

My Wii keeps telling me that I'm gaining weight. Of course, I'm not able to weigh myself at the same time each day, so I know that makes a difference. I'll just keep on keeping on and hope to see a difference SOON!
