Wednesday--that is what my phone says...

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday--that is what my phone says...

Good morning all, I am in SOCORRO, NM. Stopped for a day of rest after walking all over Santa FE. What a beautiful area, and full of tourists. The drive from Las Vegas to Santa Fe is marvelous. Through the juniper forest. One can see homes nesseled amongst the trees. Some quite nice! Today, heading west again. Lyn

good morning ladies
got into the shed to do some rearranging and see what damage the rain storm did,,,,,well, I had to pitch out some of
my favorite yarn and making a mental note on those type of tubs that let the water get in. So, sealing the roof on the
shed is on my chore list too. Will get back out there today and do some more rearranging and cleaning up. Hope I don't
find more tubs with water in them.
Nothing else going on, just a little of this and that and eventually it all gets done.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good morning ladies,

Well, first night at my friend's house is over, actually slept pretty well after her little dog finally settled down. He sleeps on the bed with me and hears every little noise outside and then jumps off the bed and goes running down the hallway barking. Last time he barked was at 12:30 when he heard the coyotes singing. After that all was peaceful!

Meeting 2 friends for lunch today, just hope I don't forget! I keep reminding myself in my head but I have been known to get into a project and lose all track of time.

Laundry day and 4 dogs to walk again. Not much else on the agenda. Will be back at Daun's house tonight--it's actually pretty fun and her dog likes having someone to sit on (he's a great one for laps!). Her sil called me last night to let me know her surgery went ok but she needed 2 pints of blood so they were keeping her near the recovery longer. Her sil was going to stay the night there once they got her in a room.

Good day everyone and be safe out there,
Kathy

Good morning Lyn, Ava, Kathy & everyone!

Lyn, I'm so glad you're having a good trip. Have fun today!

Ava, that's such a shame about your yarn getting wet. Hopefully the shed roof repair will be an easy fix.

Kathy, so glad your friend's surgery went well. That's so nice that you can spend the night with her dog.

It's warm but a little damp here, but the rest of the week is supposed to be dry but a little cooler. Considering that we're halfway through October, we can't complain about the temperatures. Hopefully we'll hear from CArol soon to let us know how her surgery went. Liz, I hope the part comes in soon for your toad braking system. Those on the road, be safe and I'm sending lots of good thoughts to those with health or other issues.

Good morning ladies!

Starting to feel water-logged from all the water I have been drinking since yesterday! Am on my "no more food" diet now until after my colonoscopy tomorrow afternoon. My stomach is already growling, so not sure how I will make it until then! Any suggestions??

The water in the building is being shut off until 2 this afternoon for plumbing repairs, so I can't start my prep stuff until after it gets turned back on.

The weather here is gorgeous! Sunny and mid 60's today, and 70 tomorrow! Too bad I can't enjoy it very much. :( Will get outside for a little while yet, before I lock myself in the bathroom this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day!

Good Morning everyone... very cloudy and rainy again today... makes for a gloomy time even inside...
Carol posted on Facebook... she is doing ok...
The insurance Progressive called yesterday telling me they got a letter from Good Sam and their position is the same... they will not pay anything at all... I am waiting for a few nice days to go get the motorhome and get it emptied out... Not sure what I will do... it has to be worth something... that is thousands of dollars down the drain!
I simply need to get this part of my life closed out so I can move on...
Oh Barbie be sure to drink and drink and drink... the last time I had that procedure done I did not get cleaned out so had to go home and do another... so I was 5 days without food just the prep... my son said that the Gatoraid prep is much better to take... good luck...
Time for more coffee... yikes I have gotten 4 calls in the since yesterday about medical compensation... where they got my number I do not know... it is annoying for sure... well I need to get off here and quit bellyaching...
Kathleen or Kathy

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]

Kathleen, can you post your rig on Craigs List and see how much you can get for it? There must be people out there who are willing to buy rigs with issues and fix them up. Sorry the insurance company won't budge. Maybe you need to find a new insurance company?

I guess I can't complain about them turning the water off in my building, since they did it to redo the plumbing in my new studio! It has already been completely gutted and they are redoing everything in there! It will be SO nice! :D

Poor neglected Thistle. This morning after breakfast I called Thistle to go on our morning walk. He refused to come. Twice. Then he ran and jumped on the bed. As I went to get him I realized I hadn't fed him his breakfast...and he wasn't going out until I did!

The part for my braking system is under warranty...product has a 5-year warranty. It should be in soon. Tomorrow someone is coming to the cg to put in a new windshield....got a crack on the trip south. That's covered by insurance with no deductible. Saturday the RV will get it's annual exterior wash and poly-glow coating. The finish held up well this year.

I think either Stuart or his mother would take a ride along or a hike first and ask for breakfast after.... :) Barbie, don't worry about your growling stomach, once you start taking your prep you and your body will be distracted.....

Regarding the Insurance issue, I am wondering if the company is considering the water damage as a result of age and wear and tear rather than a specific issue of "damage" as in an accident..... I can sort of see a line there that they would have to be careful not to cross depending upon whether the cause can be determined. :?
