I had my insurance with Progressive last year, no complaints. Of course, I had no problems and no reason to call them. My main reason for going with Progressive is they are one of the few RV insurance companies in Massachusetts. (That's the catch, Massachusetts)
I paid in full the beginning of my year last year because I had the cash. This year is different. Then I got a call from a Progressive person who insisted that I pay full up front for the year again. She mentioned I could pay "quarterly" but that's a misstatement. They bill you 1/4 for 4 consecutive months (installments, not quarterly), and then you have paid up in full for the year. I was getting nowhere with the person and she said she'd call back in a week to go over it all again. She kept giving me the slight of language answers, and kept diverting me from asking the questions I wanted answers to.
So, I'm wondering if they would give me this nonsense if I ever really needed them!? I'm going to go with another insurance carrier if I can find one in MA. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.
BTW, my back surgery went well, and I'm back on my feet.
