Quartzite 2015---Jan 17 thru the 25th

Let's get together!

Quartzite 2015---Jan 17 thru the 25th

Postby avalen » Sat Oct 04, 2014 9:19 am

I googled Quartzite yesterday to see when it started, the rv show part is Jan 17 through the 25th and
there is usually a gem show tacked on to it as well but I didn't google that part.
Who all is planning to do "Q" this year. I'll be doing a day drive for sure but will do that when the majority
of the girls are there :D It was so much fun last year and the day I was there we had 13 in that gtg. :D

Thanks, Ava! I thought of this yesterday on the road and then forgot.

I'll be there at some point. Lake Havasu Balloon Fest is Jan 16-18, and I think we are planning on going to that. Unless something comes up, I'll probably come to Q right after that.

I plan to be there. I'll be coming several days before the show starts in order to work with Solar Bill's on the replacement of my solar panel that was blown off/or stolen during my trip in May. They said to call them in early January to set an appt. I'll know better then when I'll arrive. I do plan to stick around for the show and hopefully a GTG.

I'm also hoping to go to Lake Havasu for the balloon fest, but nothing set in stone. If I make the balloon fest, I'd be coming straight to Q behind Anita (I say behind because I'm never early on the road). I'd be able, hopefully, to then stay however long to see anyone coming. I want to see Blue Ox at the show to take care of my tow bar and a problem I'm having with my braking system by them.

I'll be staying at the Riviera RV (former KOA) park in Blythe from Jan. 22-25. Having limited time, we didn't want to have to hassle with hauling a generator to the desert. It's not about boondocking for us, it's about "experiencing" the Big White Tent event. So we'll be going from Blythe into town.

I'll be there....probably most of the time. Had so much fun with the RZR last year may bring it instead of the car.

I beg to differ with you, but no you won't! LOL! I'm fearless in the sand but those sideways high rock trails scare the crap out of me!

I'm planning a jan. Az trip. Quartzite is as far west as I am planning to go. I don't know what my dates are yet. I have heard so much about it that I must check it out!
