Monday Monday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday Monday

Now I'm gonna have the Mamas and the Papas in my head all day today!! :?

Martha, glad to hear that you and Harold are back home! Hope he's feeling better. When do you think you'll get the test results back?
Sarah, glad you made it home safely. Think I would get some long velcro straps like Linann for your batteries. My straps broke years ago but since there's 6 batteries in there they stay pretty well.

Not much else going on here, Grand drove down from Fayetteville yesterday after work and is spending 2 days here. She's working in the hospital there until she can start school in January. After working in the ER she's decided to change from RN to DR. We'll see, I would be happy with RN. Her and her twin bro both had a rough start in life and they're both doing fantastic....so proud of them!

Hope everyone has a great day....Martha, for sure will have to come to La if you get a Costco! I have their card instead of a Sams.

Good morning! was an exciting couple of days here. Had a visit with CarolB and Peggy as they came through PA! They stayed the night in my backyard, gave Carol's pups a chance to run around without leashes! My guys were fine with it and pretty much let them have there way! Her one girl took over the doggie bed I have in the kitchen, no one bothered her! It's amazing me that my 70 pound plus dogs will just let little dogs have their own way. Wish we could have longer to visit but was excited to meet them. What neat ladies! Makes me more excited to get to some GTG's! Been thinking about a GTG at Raystown Lake next fall. I took a day trip to the lake a few months ago and thought it would be a great place, is a COE park so that's a plus for those of us with senior passes! Sounds like everyone is home safe from the Kansas GTG! So enjoyed reading about the adventures and the photos were great.

Didn't have to report for jury duty this week but 4 more call ins so imagine I'll get called at some point in Oct. Got some appointments for the month so will have to see how that affects my schedule!

Donna, glad you are finally on your way south and no more tire problems! What a crazy start of your trip! Enjoy your time with Liz. Martha, happy news that you and DH are home. Hope everyone has a great Monday. Going to work in the yard today and take advantage of another nice day.

Well, so much for a warm, sunny day that was predicted! Woke up to rain and 50*. Not good biking weather :( I guess I will have to stay inside this afternoon and do my dishes instead  .

Martha, glad you two are back home. You can get better sleep there and both be more comfortable as your hubby recuperates.

Gotta go pick up my dad for his doctor appointment now... Have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

MelissaD, yep, that's it! I always forget it's called Seven Points! Always just been Raystown to me! Thought I'd head over one day and talk to them about group camping in Sept. I imagine there would be a lot of leaf peepers around that time of year. I did drive around the camping area and thought it looked nice. Never realized how big it was!

Good morning all,

Well it's morning somewhere. I haven't been on in a while and have been trying to read and catch up. Whew a lot has been going on.

It has been raining for two weeks now. The lake is as high as it was in 04 when we had all the hurricanes. The water is cool also. We usually swim until the end of Oct. bu t not this year.

I saw lots of health issues and travel troubles. I hope everyone will make it ok. Keeping everyone in my prayers.

Has CArol gotten her eye surgery done and made it to NC?

I can't wait to meet everyone at Silver Springs especially after looking at all the photos from the KC gtg. It sure looked like everyone had a great time!

Got to run. Think of this group often. Hope to meet everyone over time.

We got the results before we left the hospital. The old ureter that was taken out had 3 places with cancer but it hadn't gotten out of the ureter. One place was close so we got it out just in time. Harold doesn't have to take any treatments. They will probably do a scan in 3 months to check things. He was very lucky we found a doctor that found it.

Don't plan you trip to our Costco just yet. lol They just started talking about building one. It usually takes 5 years for something to get build after we first hear about it.

Great news Martha! I bet it is good to be in your own bed. Speedy recovery to both the patient and his nurse.
