Goodbye to the Whim!

Postby sunshinecruiserTN » Fri Sep 19, 2014 8:52 pm

Hi ladies,
It's been a while since I've posted on here but wanted to let you know that I have FINALLY sold the Whim. The sale was finalized today. I am off the road and will be traveling back and forth between Central FL and Crossville TN. Six months each place, give or take a few months here & there. I enjoyed being on the road but my biggest mistake was getting rid of Somewhere, 35' Class A to my 21' Class C. It was just to small for me and by the time I figured that out I so loved where I had found in FL to stay I purchased a 2 bedroom park model and I am in heaven. I still have my place in Crossville for the "camping" experience so I get my mountain & camping fix.

I have met so many wonderful ladies on this forum that I sure hope I can stay in touch and who knows, I'll pop into a gtg every once in a while. Deer Run RV Resort in Crossville has camping spots, as some of you know, and you are always welcome. There are some pretty cool places in central FL too.

Be safe everyone and continue to enjoy the good life.

So glad you found a new home for the Whim. And, of course you are welcome here and at any gtgs. Selling the Whim doesn't change that! You've got what works best for you and that's what it's all about. I'll never forget you driving that first class A up the windy road not recommended for rv's to Monte Sano!

I think of you often. Glad to know that your Whim found a home and that you have found your homes that work for you. I know that you will still find ways of traveling and finding adventures. Our stories of Nashville are never complete without you.

We go on the road for good reasons, and then we settle back into our sticks and bricks for good reason. Good job selling Whim. I've been thinking about getting out of Class A for a Class B, and I you've given me something to think about.

Enjoy your new home!

Congrats on selling Whim. Glad you have found what works for you. You can always pop into a GTG; someone always has a sofa for you.

Happy for you on the sale! Also happy that you found the right combination of living/camping arrangement that makes you happy. Don't be a stranger here, and we know how to find you too...in both places.
