Hubby's surgery

Postby MandysMom » Tue Sep 16, 2014 7:06 pm

Is scheduled for two weeks from tomorrow, Wednesday October 1. Don't know time yet. They will try to close the tiny fistula in the rear of his palate graft, ease scar tissue, trim extra tissue on the graft, and move some tissue to bulk up an area high on the back of his throat to help keep food from backing up and help his swallowing. Should take about 2 hours and depending on swelling may stay overnight or go home.
