A Town Time Forgot

Tonight I'm staying in Seibert, CO, a town time has definitely forgotten.

This barn was built in about 1925. The plan is to try and save it by straightening it up before it leans too far. Hope they start soon.

Sandi,
That middle photo looks like a painting... beautiful in its simplicity.
Thanks for sharing this little treasure with us. :D

Looks like a ghost town! Not much action downtown! How many people live there?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Love the pictures, and always enjoy small towns like that.

Love the middle photo Sandi, looks like it should be in a photography show. Did you take classes? I think the town rolled up their sidewalks long ago!

The population of Seibert, CO in 2012 was 184. Thanks for the nice comments on the pictures. No, I haven't taken any classes. In fact, before I've only had my iPhone. For the trip driving to the KS GTG, I decided I wanted something with a zoom, so I figured since Liz takes such nice pictures, I got the updated version of the camera she has. So far I really like it, but I have a lot to learn about its features.
