Four days from Abiquiu to my front door. Day before I got home, the electric steps gave up the ghost. Two very nice guys at an RV place in Clovis figured out that it's the control box and that they didn't have one. Didn't charge me a dime to test all the wiring and then disconnect the steps. I was visited by angels many times on this trip. Heavy rain and wind all the way from Albuquerque, so slow going in some places. I love northern New Mexico, even looked at property out by Abiquiu. Way off the beaten path and off the grid. Very New Age community and lots of characters that just tickle me. I love creative, goofy people.Goofier the better. Maybe it's time for me to embrace my inner astral consciousness or whatever.
Oh lordy, I'm so tired I'm goofy. Knew I was tired yesterday, but today I'm exhausted. Woke up in the middle of the night very confused because I couldn't find the wall that's next to the bed in the RV. Duh, I'm home in my big bedroom with the big bed. Took awhile to remember.
Is it always like this after a long trip?
