Progressive Ins denies claim for Jayco Eagle roof

Postby dayspring39 » Fri Sep 12, 2014 2:09 pm

I have been in touch with my insurance agent... she has not been very helpful... even the proof I sent letter and cancelled checks and pictures have been disqualified because they said they found long standing damage caused by seepage of water over a very long period of time...
This is a major blow to me... do any of you ladies out there have any suggestions as to what I can do next?
My agent is sending pictures that the Progressive Adjuster took.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a letter ready for Action Line Good Sam... Sue suggested I contact them.

I think contacting Action Line is a great idea. Definitely can't hurt.

So sorry to hear that, Kathleen. That contact certainly couldn't hurt. Good luck.

So sorry to hear that Kathleen. What a bummer. And, yes, contact Action Line. Lyn

Kathleen, if Action Line doesn't help, can your son-in-law do something? Isn't he a general contractor and do something to at least get you back on the road? I hope things work out in your favor.

Action Line is a lot of help because companies know the situation is being seen by thousands of Good Sam RVers and being passed on to others. Good luck.

Thank you friends. I am down but not out for sure. Have contacted Action Line as well as Illinois State Adjusters. They said I do not need an adjuster I need a certified Motor Home repair person. so I have contacted Pontiac and sent all the info to see if Kevin will write it up.
Not sure what will happen. and Irmi no John will not do any work on the motor home. In fact they do not want me on the road. This is not to be mean but he does not know about the construction on a motor home.
Thanks everyone. I am way tired and am not posting for a while.
