here's the update

ok, surgery took two cuttings and then it came out clear. The stitches are dissolvable, plus some kind of glue with little
strips that look like strapping tape. Then its all wrapped up with that bandage so for now I really don't have much
use of my arm. The wrappings have to stay on until Sunday evening, after that I can take the wrap around bandage off but
still leave the little tapes on and keep them trimmed as they wear off at the edges and they will eventually come off on their own as I keep them trimmed down. My upper arm is really very sore from keeping my arm still for so long but it will be fine.
Picked up Scout, him and Maggie are fine, he's very friendly but Maggie is giving him plenty of space. I will let them be to say hello on their own time. Kitty of course ran for
her high shelf and looking down watching all that is transpiring. Scout doesn't even know she's there.
It will be an interesting weekend with more storms coming up.

Hi Alice,
So happy to hear that all the cancer cells have been cut out. Sorry that you are hurting now, but it should heal fast. Hang in there. Peggy

Alice, don't hesitate to take the pain pills. They are to help relieve that awful hurt you will get! Be lazy and love yourself as you deserve the slow pace.

Sleep and naps are a good thing.
...and drugs to help you get there! :D

Glad that is over! Now just get thru the recovery and you will be good as new! :D

Glad the dogs are getting along OK so far.

Definitely go for the pain pills if you can tolerate them. You will only need them for a couple of days and it is better to not let pain get ahead.

Glad dogs are getting along. Scout is probably desperate for friends.

So glad that is behind you. Each day will be better. Take a pill when you need them and rest and recover. Thoughts are with you.

Ava, as others have said, take the pain pills! That is what they are for! Rest and sleep all weekend! Glad to hear the dogs are getting along...that was so nice of you to pick up Scout. Lyn

So glad they got it all out! I'll echo everybody else and say "Take the pain pills!" Staying ahead of the pain is so much easier than trying to catch up. Sleep lots this weekend!

I'm glad they made sure to get it all out of there this time. Are the pain pills in tablet form so that you could cut one in half and take when you really don't want it to knock you out, but just enough to remove some of the pain?
