Sunny Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Friday

G'morning all,

Sunshine out there this morning. Supposed to be nice day. Good, as I have to get busy and start getting things ready for trip next week.

After a week of looking at maps, debating and then having the vet visit for Sassy, decided to stay here in MI rather than do the Great River Road right now. That trip is almost better taken as part of another trip, like maybe heading west and go down side of WI to Lacrosse or something like that. Plus neighbors across the road have plans to head to U.P. too, not that I am going where they are. But since I already had reservations for Indian Lake State Park, figured I would do some more parks and see some more areas I haven't been. So will be at ILSP, the moving up to Baraga State Park at the base of the Keweenaw Peninsula and from there I can go up to Copper Harbor for a day as I haven't been there in a long time either. Then will move on the weekend over to Van Riper State Park near Champion and go to mass at the little church that I love so well there. So will be a week long getaway. After that will return trailer to dealers for the awning repair, which at the moment looks like a replacement of both awning arms. But they have to wait for the parts to come in.

So will be off to town in a bit here, need to get tires rotated on truck, banking, and maybe some shopping. Not sure about that as I want to go to Farmer's Market tomorrow and may shop while I am in town although it is easier on Friday morning rather than the Saturday crowds. Then will come home and clean the inside of TT a bit and start organizing stuff to take along. Not leaving till Monday, so no hurry there.

Eggs, bacon, cereal and toast are available here as well as blueberries and bananas, so help yourself. Hope you all have a wonderful day today.

Good Morning Sue and Everyone !! Sun is out here too, for now. My last day to babysit for now. Kids and Mom went for open house at school, found teachers, classrooms etc. GS will have same teacher as GD had last year. Sometimes that is not so good, although teacher has a grade lower then last so maybe she won't expect the same from GS. He has more of a problem reading then sis does.

I stayed up way too late last night , two nights in a row, after midnight. Downloaded some good books on IPad and that's my downfall, once I start a really good book to nosey to let it be have to finish it. My DD was up getting ready for court today, wasn't quite prepared for her case, to many interruptions at work. She has an open door policy, and sometimes employees take advantage, ask her instead of looking up for themselves.

Kids are up, time to start the day, rain has come earlier each day this week , cutting swim time short, think we need to go earlier. I have some things need to get done first so gotta get movin' !!!

Enjoy your day and Stay Safe ,
CArol :)

CArol, you can take the librarian out of the library but you can't take her away from her books..... :) The girls are all groomed and waiting for baths and the boys and I will take them over to St Clairsville, Ohio, for this week's dog show. The other two women that are showing English Cockers this weekend are planning on staying in the rig with us. There is a whole lot less pressure to perform when the entries are smaller. They only have to beat each other and one other girl that Cindy is bringing for her show debut for a point. (Cindy own's Audrey and Daisy's father so she will be happy which ever girl wins!)

Another beautiful cool morning here in SW Ohio. I need to get moving and loading the rig if we plan on getting out of the driveway by noon.....

Everyone drive safely and have a wonderful weekend.

Another beautiful morning here as well tho the temps and humidity are creeping back up.

I was deeply saddened yesterday morning to learn of the passing of another friend who was also a long time customer at the antique malls. She was 74 and will be missed by many.

Decided to take advantage of the brief break in humidity to work on organizing the large and only one storage bay in Magic. Will put a couple of photo in the Rig section later today. Came out better than I expected.
Magic needs a lot of routine service work done - hopefully before I leave for KS. Am waiting for a call back from an RV service place in Decatur with cost estimate. Really unhappy with my one experience with dealer here in Huntsville and do not want to have to use them again if I can avoid it.

Appointment this afternoon for an in-home visit by Blue Cross nurse - not my idea, theirs. Nurse basically interviews you, takes vital signs, and looks around house to see that you are living in a reasonable safe environment. They claim that the visit does not impact your coverage but when it comes to insurance companies, I am not all that trusting. Will be glad to get it over with anyway.

Good luck at the dog show, Tina.
CArol, with all the pool and grand kids time you've had this summer bet you are in great shape by now.

Have a great weekend.

Hello from sunny Wyoming. I stayed last night in the pretty city park in Douglas, Wy. Many towns in the "old west" still offer free camping in the city park. This one even has a shower house. I will stay again tonight. My trip will soon be over and it is too soon to get away again for the KS get-together. I sure look forward to meeting you all.

Good afternoon from Helena, Montana

Sarah, sorry for the loss of you friend.

CArol, I often listen to audio books and fall asleep while listening! Only problem is finding where I left off!

What a day! Went to two laundromats and parking lots were too small to park let alone turn around. Advertised RV wash bay only had 12 foot clearance. So I bombed out. Now having wind, some rain, thunderstorm warnings and hail in the vicinity. I can deal with all but hail. Ah, first lightening and thunder!

I came back to WalMart to regroup and do my shopping. Think I'll just stay put!

She needs all caps to read her own writing ok. And, Barbie, she does have a very vivacious personality also!

Good luck selling! I hope you find a buyer quickly. It's so frustrating that getting it fixed caused it to make you ill.
