Good to hear from you, Linda. Glad you are settled in for your new adventure.
Good news about the kitty, Martha.
Cooler, dryer air is just now arriving in north AL - so looking forward to a couple days break in the heat/humidity.

Been great cooler weather here too! No complaints here! Polar vortex's are good in summer, bad in winter!

Went to my dad's after work to meet someone who was interested in buying my kayak. Got it all ready and he called and cancelled  . But then a guy pulled in the driveway and said he is a real estate agent and has two buyers interested in my dad's house and wanted to know if we were interested in selling. Heck yah!!! Well, my brothers and I are, not sure about my dad tho. I talked to the guy for awhile and then introduced him to my dad and they chatted for awhile. Hopefully, my dad will start seriously thinking about selling now, knowing someone is interested in buying the place. His finances are getting pretty bad now, so he really needs to get out from under the house soon. This would be a good time to do that.

Also have someone interested in my cartop carrier and will be coming out on Saturday to see that.

I think I found a ferret friend for Chelsea! I might be picking him up tomorrow morning. He is a 4 month old male. He is champagne colored with white feet. His name is Moose!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Wow - campfire was on page 2! So 54* expected tonight & decided to stoke the fire.

Did any of our kayakers (Liz, Birdie, Tina, etc) see the video of the whales that lifted a kayaker right out of the water? That's a once is a lifetime experience.

Happy travels everyone if you're on the road.

Watching dolphins dance by is close enough......I am not sure I need the visual of a whale.

The pups and I are heading up to Marion, Ohio for a 4 day show. Regardless of how they do, we will have fun and Daisy gets to meet Cindy, who owns the girl's daddy and hasn't seen Daisy in person since she was 8 weeks old. My how Daisy has changed. I had to promise Lyn that I won't let Cindy keep her. Must remember to count carefully as I pack up to head home. My cousin and her daughter in law and grandchildren are also coming over to the show site on Saturday to visit and see the show. We are hoping for moderate temperatures. Old gray haired ladies having heat stroke in the ring is bad for a dog's performance. :)

The RV shop called and they got my refrigerator installed. I was afraid it wouldn't fit in the space and there was no moving a wall. They are trying to test the propane and couldn't figure out how to turn it on. It makes me nervous when I know something the rv place doesn't. I think all the manufacturers of rvs make them different.

It's raining again. I have had enough rain. Wish we could send some out west where the fires are.

I saw that video of the kayakers and the whales. Pretty AWESOME!!! I imagined that happening to me. I was excited when the manatee popped his head out of the water and sniffed the side of my inflatable kayak. While we're on the subject, has anyone done any kayaking in NJ?

So far, the electric in the campground has even survived a bad lightning storm. I'm trying not to worry about it.

I think I got too run down, with these long hours and some nights not sleeping so well. I caught a cold  I had plans to go with some friends, today, to NYC. Was up off and on all night, sneezing and blowing my nose. I'm so glad I didn't go. Not only did I not feel well enough, but didn't want to pass on the bug to others. Other than a nice walk with the boys this morning, I did nothing productive. I even took a nap. I have two more days off, so hope I can kick this thing.

It feels so good to be making a paycheck again 8-) I have been training Safety and in Receiving. It's a bit hectic, as I'm sure it always is at launches of new Fulfillment Centers. We have debriefing, daily, to discuss problems and successes. They are so good about trying to change what they can to make things better for us. I have had compliments from my trainees and they are doing well, so I feel I am doing a good job. I love the feeling I get when they are smiling on day 2 :D My last day is Sept. 24th and my first day in KY is Sept. 30th, so will be driving straight there. I'm hoping the fall colors are starting by then.

I haven't posted a picture on Facebook yet....but Miss Daisy did it again. She won another 3 point Major here on her first weekend out. She now has 6 of her required 15 points to complete her Championship and both of her required Majors so she completed the hardest part. 3, 4 and 5 point majors are worth more because they require a dog/bitch to win over increasingly larger entries. We have one more day to show. Winning Majors also helps accumulate those points faster and saves money attending additional shows. :)

Audrey gets credit for helping Daisy gait better in the ring. Audrey had won her class and was back in the ring competing along with her sister. Daisy had not moved all that well in her own class but she was the only 12-18 month old in it.....but when she went back into the ring and moved in line behind her sister, she gained confidence and showed much better thanks to Audrey's inspiration. :)

Thought I better check in before I won't be able to for two weeks.....
Tomorrow is bid day for my route and of course drug test day, wednesday
the new ac gets put in and therefor my budget is shot until payday. I'm choosing
to be late for the cell bill because I'd rather be cool. Eventually over the next
few days, they will shut the internet off, but they leave the phone on for
about a week.
Thursday is my surgery and begins a full work day and school next week.
If I temporarily lose the internet I can check in from work using their WiFi.

keep on keeping on :-)

I will be staying at Green River State Park. Same as last year. I like the view and peacefulness. I have my start date of Sept. 30th, so will be heading straight there from NJ. My son just notified me that his college graduation is Sept. 6th, in VA. I will need to figure out how to make it for that. Then, his wedding is Oct. 25th, so will be another road trip from KY. I've never used days off from Amazon.

Anyone know a lot about health ins. through Healthcare.gov? I recently purchased a plan and I love it so far. Now, Amazon is providing CamperForce with ins. It is a high deductible, etc, so would probably benefit me to stick with what I have. Do I have to take theirs?

Ava...What is your surgery for? I wish I was there to help you out. I can pray for you, though ;)
