Anita I am so sorry about your cousin's passing. Thankfully her last days were with people that loved her.

Not much going on here today, just another fun day in the cave (office).

Safe travels to all on the road, and productive days to those at home.

Anita it was a blessing your cousin spent these last days with the love of people who cared for her... what a comfort to her and them...

Oh yes thanks for the help with finding a nail polish... I did have some OPI but got a base and top coat and another color that goes with my dress for the wedding...

Yesterday was a long long day changing phone numbers with so many people... what a pain!!! but what peace of mind it is now...

We had rain in the night... that is good just not in the day... My toe is bent down today I will wrap it and see if that helps... there is nothing that can be done so I did not call my doctor... when I broke my big toe a few years ago I had a boot but cannot find it now... that was a hoot lol because of my pride I did not want to wear the boot to my grandsons graduation from college sooooo I put on regular shoes could not find a close parking place so had to walk quite a distance... long story short I broke it again... ah ah ah that is what happens when we become prideful!!! I hope this brings a smile to your faces...

nothing going on for me and I'm really getting nervous about an appt to get a biopsy done on my arm. The spot looks
really gnarly and I'm sure its going to be positive for cancer but hoping its not melanoma. I've tried to dismiss it out
of my mind but as the day gets closer, I get more nervous about the outcome.

Quite a rain this morning, set me back almost an hour on my chores. So now I'm running behind on everything.

Kathleen so sorry about your toe, ouch! Done that many many times and the only good way of fixing it is to wrap it securely to the next toe so it doesn't move.

Anita I am sorry to hear of your cousin's passing but what peace she must have felt to be with those who cared about her.

Bonnie, hope you can at least get out of your "cave" at lunchtime!

Ava, I'm going to the dermatologist too for a suspicious spot on my face. I'm a two-time skin cancer survivor so I hope this one's the same type.

Not much else today, just chores around the house. Also need to call my accountant and get some things squared away regarding our payroll.
Think I'll go get a second breakfast since the first one wasn't much!

Good Morning,

We are in Wasilla and I am up much too early for me, but we are catching a bus to the museum in Anchorage. Going to be a long day. Suppose to be in low 60s but it is cloudy.

We stopped in Talkeetna yesterday - I didn't expect such crowds. No parking, people walking down the middle of the street, mud and puddles. We didn't stay. We had a couple of peeks at Mt. McKinley along our route tho!

Good Morning !! I'm back at my DD's. So I'm on my IPad, won't be a long one We get here yesterday and she informs me that she has wifi in her house now. Well, for this week my laptop is not with me. So it's the one finger bit on the IPad or nothing, Hmmm not sure which might be best For you alls sake short or none ??

Mornings flying away and I haven't accomplished much, keep looking at the pool out there Kathleen I replaced your new # in my phone, gosh a big ouch on the toe !! Anita, I'm so sorry to hear about your cousins passing, I'm sure she passed in total peace , knowing she was still loved by some who really cared.

I promised a short MSG, guess its time to shut up. Those working don't work to hard, those traveling (lucky ducks) stay safe !!

Last night when I got ready to go to bed one of the cats had thrown up in the bed. All the bedding needed washing so I had to clean off the bed in my office. Sometime during the night it started storming and the cats woke me up at the first big clap of thunder. I finally went back to sleep and the electricity must have blinked or went off and it set my printer off when it came back on. About this time DH is up making noise. He went to town and made enough noise when he came home that I gave up trying to sleep. It's going to be a long day.

Kathleen, I didn't wrap my broken toe to the toe beside it and it bothered me for a long time.

I'm leaving this campground a day early because I am bored and because there is no one around. (Would you believe they started draining the lake yesterday to help get rid of silt, so everyone has left.) I think I will end up in Casper for tonight, but am not sure. I also need groceries and there is nothing around here worth shopping in. I also need to get some Nyquil or something to help me at night. The thick mucus from my cold is choking me at night and keeping me awake. I am taking mucinex but it isn't doing enough. Ended up watching a lot of TV in bed last few nights, so I could really use a good night's sleep.

Kathleen, you really should have the doctor look at your toe even if he/she can't do much about it. I dropped a big glass bottle on my toe almost 30 years ago and never went to the doctor. Over the years I had problems with it, and 25 years later had to have surgery to remove some bone chips that were causing the pain and a big callus to form.

Made it to Idaho today. Couldn't find a BLM cg I was looking for on the Snake River..an Oregon Trail site I was interested in, so ended up at Walmart for the night.

Ava, I will keep you in my prayers...waiting and worrying is the hardest part.

Kathleen, I hope your toe is getting better. At least maybe call the dr. and see what they suggest you can do to help it along, like wrapping it to the toe next to it to keep it from "bending."

Judy, I hope your cold/cough improves soon. No fun not being able to lay down and sleep.

Kathleen, I hope you got that new phone number unlisted, unpublished, un-everything, so your twins can't look it up anywhere! Had to do that for my dad to keep the lottery scammers from calling him.

Bummer on the toe! Dropped a large TV on my big toe several years ago! Ouch! Luckily, it was summer and I could wear sandals to work for awhile, since shoes were too uncomfortable to wear.

Cool, sunny, breezy day today. Stopped at my dad's after work to bring him a card and blueberry pie. His 88th birthday was yesterday.

Have the next two days off so I can finally finish unpacking and decorating around here.

Have been looking for another ferret to get. Chelsea needs a friend. I just can't play ferret games with her the way another ferret can. I want to get a shelter ferret or one who really needs a good new home, rather than a baby ferret from PetCo. Not many needy ferrets available right now (which is a good thing!), so will wait until the right one comes along.
