Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Holy Cow! It's Monday, where is everyone?

Postby gingerK » Mon Jul 07, 2014 8:06 am

Good Morning! Is everyone still sleeping? I don't usually start MC.

Up early and out the door before 6, got lots of puppers and ponies to see to including my own. I was surprised when I got here that no one had started the coffee yet and it's 8 o'clock.

Rained again last night. Of course because I watered all my flowers!

Laundry needs doing and I need to get to the bank today. Have been waiting on a client's check which is more than 2 weeks overdue but it hasn't arrived.

DH and I put in a new back door and lockset on Sat. Yesterday we went to Menard's for trim boards and he cut and fit them. Then we got the grass all cut, weed wacking, etc.

Not much more here, so I'll go.

Good day everyone!
Kathy

Good Morning... I had a sound sleep last night only got up once... wow do I ever feel good this morning...
Some of you know my struggles with my twins well after 5 calls between Fri and Sat I went to AT&T after church yesterday and changed my phone number. I can never tell when they will get ugly they change on a dime! Beth has my new number anyone else that I have not notified can pm me...
And Carolb no worry Liz will not be to your place I am kidnapping her! But sadly to say there are no mountains or rivers here but plenty of corn and soy bean fields... oh yes and wind farms... It must make her feel so good to know she is loved by so many. I was sad that Birdie was not coming this way as I have yet to meet her... but another day another time hopefully.
Ah Ava you have had such a great summer... soon back to the old grind... sometimes I miss driving but mostly the kids... I had great ones they were so much fun!
Now back to number notification!
Have a wonderful day friends...

Me and My Shadow

some of you do not know I gave my Shadow away last year and cried every day for 10 very long weeks it wound up that I called Hildi and she gave him back. That is the reason for the song: Me and My Shadow hope you will sing along...
Kathleen or Kathy

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]

Good Morning. Got back from the lake yesterday afternoon. We had a great gathering of family, but I'm just about worn out. I had the Lil Haus parked beside the 5er, and I found myself going from one to the other for different things. That mint up 3 steps, back down 3 steps, over to the other and 4 steps up to be inside. My old knees sure complained - A LOT!!!

I doubt I'll be going anywhere else this summer. Between sisters surgerys and Dr appts, kids and grandkids, etc, etc, I'm just going to be too busy. Also a couple of cruises coming up.

When GD can get here to help me, I'll post some pictures ( I hope! )

I'm off to put the clothes in the dryer. You all have a good day.

Rained a lot overnight, therefore Peaches, the normally independent sleeper was attached to my head most of the night. We're just getting moving for the day now. Of today and tomorrow, not sure what trohble we'll get into.

I'm here. Sore throat is nearly better, but cough is still bad, and I was up last night coughing so I slept in a bit. It's one of those deep in the chest coughs, but no fever or other symptoms. Better during the day, at least. I am taking mucinex to help loosen things up a bit.

Anyway, I feel better and am going out in an hour or so to do some exploring of this state park and the Oregon Trail wagon ruts. There is a museum which I will visit and then on to a nearby grocery store to pick up some things. I love the IKEA frozen crepes and wish I had bought more. Makes a great breakfast and is easy to heat up.

Tomorrow morning I head for Montana. I'll be in Bozeman on the weekend and looking forward to visiting the Museum of the Rockies. I was there last year, but it really is a great place, so I want to go again.

Good Morning,

We left Fairbanks yesterday (at last) and will visit Talkeetna today then on to Anchorage. Lots of flooded streams, ponds, lakes. Fast moving and high rivers.

My dear cousin who was 'rescued' passed away peacefully yesterday morning.

Ava, wish I could send you some rain!

Anita, so sorry for your loss. I know you're glad that she was able to spend time being cared for by family.

I picked my sister up Thursday afternoon and we went to the lake. The weather was really nice Friday and Saturday, not too hot with a breeze. Yesterday it was hot and no breeze. We tried to stay in the shade but I got too much sun. I don't know why I buy sun screen because I forget to use it. My lips are sore and will be peeling I'm sure. Friday night there were fireworks up and down the lake. The boats park offshore of the parks to watch. Saturday night there were more close to us for a while.

Last night I had foot cramps and had to get up and walk around a couple of times. Sometimes I get cramps in my calf probably from going up and down the camper steps so many times.

Need to go unload the dirty clothes and start washing. I have to unload a lot of things so they won't be in the way when I get my refrigerator replaced.

Headed off to the golf course after work with dark skies in the distance. Just when I got there, there was a loud clap of thunder, so we all got back in our cars and headed home. Now we are under a severe thunderstorm warning with torrential rains, high winds, hail, etc. coming. The sky is just black just to my west so it will be here in moments! Glad I am home and not on the golf course! :o

Nothing else new here. :( Hope you all have a good evening! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

So glad you got home safe and were not on the course Barbara. I got my fill of torrential rain summer of 08 when we were there in our big bus. Take care.
