New RV owner from Northern CA

Postby kareno » Thu Jul 03, 2014 1:55 pm

I'm Karen. New here and excited to find this forum, and new to RVing. We just bought a 35 ft Gulfstream Sunvoyager last month. We took it out for it's first overnight trip this past weekend and I think I'm going to love traveling and camping in it.

I am an artist (not professionally) but also quilt sew, and knit, so some of those things will need to have a place in the Rv. We also have 2 kitties who will be traveling with us. My hubby will be retiring next month after 43 years as a railroad engineer which means we will have lots of free time. Looking forward to a new chapter in our lives.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. We have been gone for a week in the RV. We stayed at the KOA campground north of Santa Cruz. Very nice campground. It was a short walk to the beach, and they had many trails to hike too. We're home, sunburned and just trying to rest up. I can't wait till the next trip!
