I think the biggest one I've been to was 18 at Petit Jean SP in AR, but they've had some pretty big ones in FL also.

I know I've been to at least one over 20 - but don't remember which or where (probably one or a couple of the FL ones). Personally, I prefer the smaller ones, though - just not enough time with the bigger ones to get to know everyone. (And I've never been a party person, so to speak) That said - they are all wonderful! And any chance to go to one - no matter the size, should be taken.

Well, this is a mixture of good news and bad news with people coming and people not being able to.

Mitch/Vickie: So terribly disappointed you had to cancel, was looking forward to seeing both of you.

I changed my reservation and got site #40 - same dates. Mitch, if circumstances change and you can come, I will gladly give the site back to you.
Looks like Tina and I are the only ones arriving on 14th now.

Also want to thank those of you who PMed or posted offering to change sites for a few days or give me a ride when my initial site was so far away. What a great, generous group of ladies we have on the forum.

Aw, darn it Mitch and Vickie, so sorry you guys had to cancel. Really was looking forward to meeting both of you. But I know life throws monkey wrenches at us, like Mitch says. I also have an invite to an informal 50th wedding anniversary gathering for my best friends downstate, the weekend of the GTG. I was in the wedding party too. But told them I would be down there. They are coming up here this week to spend the 4th with me though. so we can celebrate then.

Looks like Birdie and I will be keeping each other company. Still hoping there is some way for CArol to get up there. Toes and fingers crossed. One never knows.

I would love to go out in a kayak too if one is available. Was looking to see if there was any place to rent one, but no luck. I even have my life jacket from my old kayak days.
