I haven' t figured out if I want/need to add anything to the kitchen narrows.....the nice part of what I got is that I can store the taller cleaning stuff and laundry soap, roach/ant spray etc in the space in the back. Lots of different sized and shaped "stuff" fit in the green narrow basket but at the same time it isn't so big that I can't find/see what I am hunting for fairly quickly. It is all a matter of remembering which spot I slide in which item.....
The backup camera does have the distortion you speak of but after backing it up a few times around things that I know and spaces that I know I pretty much have an idea of what I am seeing....and, well Herschel never tells how many times I might get out of the cab just to check for sure in an unusually tight spot......even with a window I would need to do that because we all know that the corner of the picnic table never shows up in the window...crunch.....
An I do understand about cost. I spent too much and have given up other things because of what I purchased. (since I was able to pay for my car with the money from my sick leave payout when I retired, I think of the MH as my car payment!) I would have needed a larger tow vehicle to pull a trailer of 5th, so that would have been a wash. But when I run the wheels off this one, I will be much more comfortable purchasing a used MH. And will be experienced enough, I hope to recognize (and/or get the help to recognize) the gems that are out there lovingly used. I have more confidence in what is fixable and on the smaller B+ or Cs, it is usually easily fixed almost anywhere, at least the engine, and you are safe fixed.... I like that the dogs are traveling with me and my bladder appreciates having more options as to when to request a potty break....
