OMG, I wish I could have 1550 calories to maintain
At 5' tall - I can't have more than 1000 or so calories a day when I'm bad lol. I didn't mind being short most of my life, but when it comes to eating, I mind it lots. I envy you those 1500 calories.
Speaking of which - I've always been a believer that any of the diets (low carb high carb, etc) can work - but that the most important thing is calories. All the new studies are saying the same thing - it doesn't matter. And the best news - is that if you do a diet based on calories, you can eat carbs or not, according to if you want them - just in limitations with your allowed calorie intake. (Like please, never tell me to take chocolate or ice cream out of my diet. Just let me limit how much of either I eat
)
Good luck all. I don't expect to lose this week - am just working on maintaing and not gaining more right now. Will do more to work on losing when I'm back on the road.
