Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Friday

G'morning all :)

Pat, how did it go???? Sending out prayers....

Busy busy people! Donna, nice to be in cooler weather?! & baby shower for???? I missed something...Ava, thinking of you as I toil over my projects  No Home Depot close by, but I'm off to Lowe's this a.m. Bro was here yesterday to help me hang new storm door--need to finish trimming it out today while he's off sailing. He didn't put his boat in the water this year, so he's "first mate" for one of the other members. Oh well, too much for me to do to enjoy a day of sailing

Off for more coffee! Y'all have a great day, be safe always, & TGIF 8-)

Morning Carolb and everyone to follow,

Carol, me thinks you should be out sailing and your brother working on the door, I love to sail, Had my share of small sailboats over the years, Sunfish being my favorite. By the way, Brenda said to say hi next time I wrote to you, so here's the HI.

Another sunny day here today. Been having an absolutely wonderful weather pattern this past week. Just perfect. I too should be out doing some things in my yard but other than the grass needing to be cut, I'm pretty well set here. Deck needs a new coat of paint, but will get to that. Too busy working inside my TT right now. Almost done getting it ready to hit the road. Just need to go get some staples for my staple gun so I can finish stapling down the non skid shelf liner in one cupboard. Once that's done, then can put the stuff in that cupboard, make up the bed and call it quits for a few days till later next week when it will be time to start loading. Was wondering, do any of you leave canned goods and such in your rigs when you have them parked at home and not going anywhere for awhile or do you take all food out due to those rigs getting pretty warm inside when you are not using them?

I laid some grass carpet down in my under dinette storage areas yesterday as well as my one clothes storage cupboard, a nd some regular indoor/outdoor carpet in another cupboard used for storage. May as well use it since I have it. Will post some pictures for those looking for ideas after I finish up everything today.

Posted a couple of pictures in General Talk of my hitch carrier I made to move my big heavy hitch around. I know Laura was interested in seeing what I did as she said hers is heavy too. Nothing fancy but it works.

Off to store this morning and to get some staples as well. Then will come home and finish up the job. Off to cut grass later on today probably.

Pat, I too am waiting to hear what's happening. Hopefully it's nothing. I had to have a mammo redone too, and was nothing. Prayers headed your way.

Time to get moving here, so want to wish you a wonderful day out there. :)

Good Morning everyone. I too had a suspicious area on my mamo a few years ago. There was a lump they did a lump ectomy as it was easier than a biopsy, it was fine. Sure does make you take pause until it is done. Let us know the results when you can.

The weather is perfect this week now that the storms have passed. I have a small solar water fountain that I wanted to set up yesterday but low and behold the copper pan that is the bottom is missing. Need to improvise but not sure what to use.

It sounds like some have a busy day ahead. Mine is always slow going...

Me and My Shadow wish you a happy Friday

Last week my boss asked if I could work a split shift on Friday instead of the afternoon/evening shift and I agreed. So I got up early this morning, got all ready, headed into work, only to find out that was for NEXT Friday, not today! So I am back home for awhile before heading back in later this afternoon.

Stopped at the old apartment and discovered that my carpet shampooer isn't working (no liquid spraying out). Think it is clogged up from not being used for so long. Will have to see if I can figure out how to get it working later.

Did some shopping yesterday. Some stuff for the new place, some stuff for my camping trip, and some new summer clothes.

May throw some shorts on here and go sit out on the dock for awhile.

Have a good day! :D

Carol, you can come help me with my storm door. 8-) I am wondering if I unscrew all the screws that it might straighten out and I can just drill new screw holes. That would probably be too easy. It's probably warped from the house settling. I don't want to get started with that with my DH around. When he helps me with my projects the outcome is not good. I use to build all kinds of things. My DH said the Rabbit cage I built would hold a Gorilla.

Today is suppose to be the first day this year that it hits 90. Not something I look forward to because 100 won't be far behind.

There is an area on our road where the ditch still has a lot of water from all the rain. Yesterday when I was walking I heard something make a big splash. I didn't see what it was but I'm pretty sure it was an Alligator. I saw a baby Alligator on a log so I made a u-turn and got away from there. I heard the croaking noise they make. No way I want to be around a mother Alligator.

good morning :D
thinking of Pat and waiting for an update. I had a suspicious mammogram once too and they sent me for an ultrasound, then a biopsy, turned out to be fibroids, they were drained twice and never came back, all mammograms since then have been normal.
This heat is already getting on my nerves, not much time to get outside stuff done in the mornings. Out by 6 am and in by 8:30.
Then of course you have those days ya have to run back to home depot and get screws cause ya ran out...that was this morning. Get back with the screws and start in again and ran out of juice in the screwgun. But, I did finish up on the uprights
and laid one section out on the tile waiting for holes to be drilled and screws set in. Guess that will be tomorrow morning cause this day is shot temp wise.
Still waiting for my stuff to come back from the dermatologist so I can make my appt. I need that paperwork to take with
me when I go. In the meantime I've been enjoying the pool every evening cause I won't be able to do that once I have open
freeze burn wounds. Wouldn't want to take any chances of getting an infection, especially since I've seen the ducks hanging
out in the pool. They are certainly cute but I really wish they would stay in the lake.
I've enjoyed catching up on a few blogs and I really enjoy reading your posts and keeping up with ya'll too, as you go about your
daily routines. In the meantime, I just do a little house cleaning and enjoy some old time tv. I did enjoy a dvd movie the other day and will probably do some more of that as I go through my collection. Then of course there is always naptime :D
Ya'll have a great day and hope you have good weather so you can get out there and breath some fresh air.

Good Morning. Well I'm back from my Hawaii trip. I'm just totally exhausted, tried to do too much in too short a time. Of course the flight back was brutal (direct from Honolulu to Dallas - AT NIGHT). 7 hours cramped in a seat is not sleepable!

I'm still looking for my RV. I keep flip flopping back and forth between a mini and a Travel Trailer. I want one that I can make cute and fit just me. So it may be this fall before anything reasonable comes along. I know I have to be patient and wait, but it sure is hard.

Well, best get ready to head to the store before it gets too hot!!

Ava, I was thinking about you this morning as I was griping that we're back in a "cold" spell here - not going to see 60 degrees today through Sunday ... then, hopefully, we'll start seeing the normal temps again ... hopefully. What a screwy weather pattern we're in all over.

Very short handed again at the store. One of the full-timers just decided not to show up the other day. They gave him the benefit of the doubt that something happened, but didn't hear from him yesterday, and then today was another scheduled day of his - and he was a no-show again - which means he's history. Chris and I are having to switch some of our hours this coming week. I'll have to do some days, yuck, lol... but hopefully not for long.

Beth, they are lucky to have you and Chris. We are headed into possibly record breaking heat this weekend in northern CA! I hope all the projects you all have planned go well. With the heat for many of us, do stay hydrated and out of the sun. Have a good day all.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I don't know anything for sure, yet. By the time radiology finished my mammogram yesterday, the doctor had left. The one tech who I know quite well told me that she didn't see anything suspicious on the new images. I thought I would hear from them today. Hopefully no news is good news.

That gives some peace of mind to go into the weekend. Doctor should have stuck around knowing that you were coming.

Sorry I missed the coffee gathering this morning, but I'm here for the wine :D

Dang, I agree a doctor should have stuck around to read it. When I got called back I didn't expect one to and was told they never (at that hospital) let a person recalled leave without knowing the results. I certainly appreciated that. Hope the tech is right and that the techs words give you some peace of mind while you're still waiting.
