I lovve Mexico Beach and that entire coastline looked like that when I went to FSU in the 60's. We use to motorcycle over and stay on the beach. Yep, time for a new photo-and what will replace the hand? carold

HA!!! Carold you and I have the same idea. She'll put something in there. Even if it's only the back of her head. Or Bogie's head!

Sparkle...Love the pictures! What's the temperature in Mexico Beach these days? I've only been during the summer months. Makes me wanna pack up and head out.

Oh Echo! We are going to be trouble, because those two things were ideas I considered. Now I'll have to come up with something else. On the other forum I did post a picture of my big toe...can't quite remember why.
Lotus, I'm not sure what the official temp is, its pleasant, and gets nice in the afternoon. Perfect walking weather. What I like most about this area is the lack of crowds, if there are 6 people on the beach its rush hour. And where I'm boondocking, nobody! If I didn't talk to Bogie I'd lose my voice. He's ready to say, shut up already!

Sparkle, What a beautiful area. Did you ever find a ranger, so you wouldn't have to move to Wal-mart? Wal-mart parking lot after a day there would be depressing. Just looking at your pictures is so calming, as I have said before, I love spots by any body of water. Wouldn't mind knowing where that is.

Soos, I remember the Fl. coast line back in the 50's and 60's. Took a blanket and just slept out under the stars many a night, at Daytona beach. That was before children :D

Thanks for posting, Sparkle

Stay safe and happy travels

Or hineys...though I'm not sure how you'd manage that one without an accomplice!

I have a tripod and a timer, Paulette, now you've really got me thinking, but if you keep eliminating body parts its going to get difficult.
Carolinagal, and anybody else who wants the information on where I am, I'll PM you. Mexico Beach is of course open to anybody, you can park right at the side of the beach, on pavement, no sinking in the sand as is my wont! But where I am right now is way out in the boonies and I'm not going to post that info on the open net. I don't mind the drive to Walmarts. If Tioga George can do his day camps and night camps so can I.
