Carol------Let us know how it turned out-------- as I have not met one person who has been pleased about their decision---to have it done------I'd like to know there is some one who likes what was done & didn't have problems with it!!!!!!!!!!

Hiya gals, have to add my two cents here, I let my hair turn gray 5-6 years ago, I love it and often get compliments from twenty somethings that they love my hair too! Didn't do eye liner, but I did have my eye brows done about three years ago and with lip gloss in the summer, it's enough for me.
Janice, I think you are right that gray hair works best with certain skin tones. And you know what all the surveys say, color takes 10 years off! Di

looking forward to the pics, I haven't colored mine in a couple years but I think I'm
about due. Last time I colored it was right after my chemo, (did not loose my hair)
it got very thin and unhealthy but the chemicals for the dye made my scalp burn and
itch for a very long time. It was awful so I've been waiting till my body feels really
healthy again. I think I'm ready.

Funny we're on this topic. My hair was 'wavy' before chemo. I highlighted and straightened following my divorce, but 1 year ago, decided to let my true colors come shinin' thru. I couldn't believe what a curly nest I had! I don't feel as young, but I certainly feel more 'free'!

OO, I will let you know. She's going to the same person that one of her friends went to about a year ago, and loves it so she feels comfortable going with this person, although everyone reacts differently. We both play tennis and have always wondered how many of the women come off the courts sweating but with their eyeliner perfect. Now we know.

I can relate as I tried several times over the past couple years to not color my hair and I look terrible, like a mouse! I do get lots of compliments on my hair color when I get it done so I guess I'll bite the bullet and keep paying someone to color it.

As to the permanent liner etc. I got that done several years ago and love it! The gal that did mine was very conservative in applying the color so it wouldn't come out too dark, or look strange as I got older. It does fade after a while and I need to get my liner touched up. I also got my brows done as my hair is so fair and thin it never looked like I had any. Then, I have a hard time wearing lipstick as every brand I've tried tends to make my lips dry and huge hunks of skin will peel right off. I've been to, and tried all, the major named cosmetics and their conditioners/moisturizers etc. So I elected to get my lips done also. My gal always goes light and then after a few weeks she touches it up if needed. Getting my lips done hurt so much I never had her go back and darken them up and most has faded. It is a very painful procedure and does hurt afterward, too. Ice packs will be your friend.

Thanks for all the info Lenora. I should but don't wear lipstick and long ago considered if/when I did this, doing my lips, but I'll stick with pale lips, I believe. I will be going through with the liner! I'm so looking forward to having it done. Yep, vanity does win out sometimes :)

Janice I think you are SO beautiful now the way you are I can imagine you'll be even prettier. What color are you going to go to?
I remember I loved the photo you shared with us of the wedding of your Son, you were SOOOOOO pretty!

I would like to have eyebrows. As I've gotten older they've gotten lighter. Got scared off when a friend had hers done and she looks permanently surprised and they're really dark. Sometimes the only makeup I use at all is eyebrow pencil. When I was young I died my hair: I've been blonde and redhead. Finally got to the point I didn't want to spend the time anymore. The really funny thing is that I was paid good money to have my hair silvered when I was in my twenties. All I had to do was wait a few year.
