Taking advantage of being here another day to post some pictures from the day we drove up to Tepic.
Got behind this cane truck on the lovely Highway 200 with its bizzillion curves - check out the mud flap
had to go through a little town - tropical plants everywhere
and just walk outside to get your bananas
in Tepic - city of 400,000 -pay attention when you are driving!
Some new homes along the way
The church in downtown Tepic
Inside it
Even the nuns are selling things
A couple shots of the Huichol Indians - they do the embroidery and bead work - men and women -set up to sell
One of the men
Like the hat
Just down the street - saw this the first time 30 some years ago - freaked my kids out
Every thing you need for your time of need
Keeping the plaza clean
Back in Lo de Marcos where we are parked. The entrance to campground is right to the right of the horse behind the white building
very sharp turn from very narrow street
Time to work on my web page. Hasta la vista
