Cool Down Thursday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Cool Down Thursday

Postby Colliemom » Thu May 22, 2014 7:35 am

Morning all,

Bit cooler here at the 45th this morning. Was near 80 yesterday and supposed to be around 59 today. Fine by me as I have some physical work to do in yard and can do without the hot sun right now.

Posted pictures of the dinette modifications and also new bed foam in "Show Off Your Rigs" if you are interested. Will be adding more as projects are complete. Right now, need more materials before I go any farther. Also waiting for a wall border to come in that I ordered. Also posted couple of pictures of the GTG with Carolb over this past weekend in the GTG thread.

Not much action on here these past few days. Guess everybody's busy with spring and summer activities. Season's short so must make use of it while we can. Same here, so must move along now. Have a wonderful day whatever you are into and if you are on he road, keep safe and enjoy the trip.

Good Morning Sue and everyone else checking out her redo of cushions... oh Sue they are so perfect... I understand why you wanted to change them... I truly think the material matches the life in upper lower Mi... You are a wonder. do you know how long you will be gone this summer?

Oh i so enjoyed meeting Cheryl... that was my baby sisters name... she is so delightful... we gabbed for hours... she walked Shadow and I rode my trike a short ways on Constitution Trail right behind my mobile home... it was too hot and humid to take a second go the other way... I nearly starved her to death! We did have a salad with meat and cheese in it for lunch... but I did not get things in the crock pot soon enough for it to get done... we went over to Margies and looked at my motor home... the clouds began building and she knew she must get home to Zorro... sadly no pictures were taken... so now I can check off meeting another amazing wanna be rv forum lady. Shadow thinks she is the best think since chew bones...

I got a chuckle when Kathy thought I was being chased by a coyote... maybe that would be better... No this varmint is live and with two legs... we have been writing back and forth for a while now. He writes poems a page long... oh my I told him 'Frank, you are way way way more invested in this relationship than I am'... be it my past or what gun-shy. He lives about 30 miles from me... writing is ok... talking on phone no... meeting no... my mind keeps thinking you know I am old and fat why bother... he is 69 so partly old. Glad Molly is on the mend... that is so important...

CArol I am sure you are going to pop in while I am writing this long note...

I have oatmeal and blue berries for breakfast and left over roast with carrots, celery, onions, tomatoes, potatoes and chuck roast for lunch... please come on over or I will have to freeze it...

Me and My Shadow think this is a great day cooler by some 15 degrees
Kathleen or Kathy

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]

Good Morning to all.

Mandy's staples are a thing of the past as of yesterday afternoon. I will still drive for another week, despite her hand clenching and nail-biting as I have fun with her neat van around these country roads! Today will be a shopping day for groceries, perhaps a spell at the kiddie park we went to during the birthing day, some laundry-doing, maybe a food date to use our free coupons we got on Mothers' Day at that steak house place....who knows. We got rain in the night and a few claps of thunder this morning, but right now, the sun is beautiful!

Happy to hear you are out and about, Kathleen! Hope to see you again this winter somewhere!

Sue, your new sofa is great! If I didn't need the space for a plastic drawered cabinet and Dinah's dog crate, I would attempt to do that with my dinette area. But I really need the space. And I already have a sofa that makes into a nice bed as well.

Happy Thursday!

Good Morning. Just puttering around the house so far. I'm still looking for an RV project. I can't decide between a small motorhome (maybe a " B") or a trailer with something to tow it. I have a little pink chevy spark that I love, but it just would not pull even a little red wagon  .

Right now I'm taking wallpaper off the kitchen dinning area. So I do have some things to keep me busy for a little while.
