Midweek Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Midweek Wednesday

Good Morning everyone,

Sunshine the word here for this morning. Burning off the fog from last night. Possible thundershowers later today.

Happy to repot that the new foam and reupholstery project is done as of Sunday. Will take a pic today. Waiting for some brighter days to do that. Then will make a modification post in Show off Your Rigs section. Brenda had fun doing it and she loved the outcome. Actually wound up making a couple of more cushions then originally planned, so now I can make couch out of dinette when I want. It's really cozy. Also recovered the cornice boards. Was big fun putting them back up with darn small screws and had to see up the sides into the holes. ,but we got them. Do have to take one down though as it needs a bit of modification done again.

Been busy cleaning house and catching up on other things. Fun day coming up today. Need to do some shopping to replenish house supplies, but also going after mulch, topsoil (bag) and some new chairs for deck area, so always enjoy doing that. Need to rearrange garage now that Brenda brought up a cupboard that she had planned on donating, but I asked for it instead. More storage for garage stuff. Also want to finish my "hitch hauler" so I can paint it and the hitch . Beautiful Memorial Day weekend coming up.

Soos, sounds like all's well with you world right now. Two O's to spoil now. Barbie, can feel excitement in your waiting for the upcoming camping trip. Kathleen, hope you had a good checkup with eye doc yesterday and things are now ready for the surgery. Kathy, so sorry about your issues with Molly. I know you will do what's right for her. Sassy is doing well. Is eating again, especially the chicken, rice and peas mix I made last night.

Time to get a move on here. Things to do, places to go. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good Morning Sue and all to follow.

Can't wait to see the trailer revamped, Sue. I've missed you lately on Facebook chat!

Another cool, sunny morning here in way-upper NY today, and should get into the high 70s today. Yesterday we went on a shopping trip where I finally some Croc knock-off shoes which I haven't been able to find for several years, (I bought 3 pairs!), Orion, Mandy and I did some sidewalk chalk art outside my trailer, we went for a couple of pond walks, got some pond algae to feed the fast-growing tadpoles, set a mouse trap for the furry little critter who raids the cookie cupboard every night in the house, listened to some good Irish Pub music and some good children's folk music out here in the yard via my trailer's speakers, and just had an all-around laid back day. Today Mandy is scheduled to get her staples removed while I drive the car and stay with the two Os during the process. That should help with some of the pain! It's my pay day (Social Security) today, so I will pay dozens of bills this morning and see if there is anything left! Happy Wednesday!

Good Morning from going to be a hot one Normal... not sure how the seasons got so mixed up but it is what it is...

Looking forward to a visit from Cheryl today... happy smiles here...

The visit with the eye doc went well.. yikes got three prescriptions now to remember how to use them... all drops for the eyes... hate to get confused and not do it right... but will do my best...

Odd thing here I have a varmint chasing old me... I love the games on MeetMe and do not interact, but there is one that does not understand that a 74 year old lady is not 25 anymore... it is in a way flattering... so I will let it run its course...

Sue it sounds like you have had a very profitable visit from your down state friend... looking forward to the pictures so glad Sassy is eating and feeling a bit better... and Soos you are having so much fun with the double O's... makes me smile... buck up Barbie moving day is almost upon you... all I can do is cheer from the side lines... Kathy I do hope there is some improvement with Molly... Liz your pictures are outstanding... wonder if the water ever comes rushing in-between the rock walls...

Sending everyone a wish for a relaxing day

Me and My Shadow are smiling
Kathleen or Kathy

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]

Top 'o the morning to all!

First the best news: Molly is feeling better today. Pain meds are working, now just have to keep her quiet til her recheck in 2 wks. Xrays yesterday said she has 3 pinched vertebra in her neck.

Now the bad news: yesterday I got bitten by a client's new dog. OUCH! The silly woman "forgot" to tell me that the dog gets "upset" whenever someone comes in the front door or rings the doorbell- DUH! Owner let me in and dog immediately nailed me. Best part was when the owner said, "well I guess you don't want to sit for her now, huh?" Um, no, why would you ever think that? Yes, I went to my Dr. to have it checked and other than sore and bruised I'm OK.

Soos, so glad you are having a grand time with the O's. Sounds like a ton of fun going on there!

Sue, I am very happy Sassy is feeling better and eating too. It's so worrisome when our furbabies aren't feeling well. Can't wait to see the pics of the new cushions and all!

Kathleen, I'm glad the Dr. appt. went so well, now on to the getting it all taken care of surgery! When you said you have a "varmint" I immediately got the mind picture of you being chased by a coyote or some such! LOL

Barbie, enjoy your golf game, hope you have a nice day for it.

Everyone have a safe, enjoyable day!
Kathy

Just got home to change clothes for golf. Cloudy and breezy but fairly warm out so won't be too bad for playing.

When I pulled in to my parking lot, there were 4 squad cars here. Two days ago there were 5 squad cars and an ambulance, and a week ago, there were 2 squad cars and a guy getting handcuffed. The week before that, the police were here three times in one day. Not sure what is all going on, but I am really glad to be getting the hell out of this place!!! One week to go!
