Headed out ... again!

Hi sisters,....

I'll be heading out camping again by mid-day today. Only going about 30 miles from home, and to a state park, so it won't be expensive. I will be home Sunday afternoon. Probably be up all night Sunday night catching up with posts here! But I love it. This forum has taken off like a rocket and it's so upbeat and comfortable! How wonderful!

I'll be in and out until I leave but just didn't want to forget to let you know I'd be away,... see ya later!

yes,... we'll have the usual mix of friends and poodles. Kath will be here later this a.m. to get stuff loaded and hitched. We are still using her Explorer to tow with, it's one of the ways we share costs of a weekend. it's raining again,..but we'll fire up the generator and watch a movie until this evening when it will finally clear up.

Have fun. I used to go to camp on Saranac Lake for years in my younger days. COOOLD! and we took our "baths" on Fridays in it. (we did take regular showers during the week) HA. Spent 2 months each summer. Fond memories of Camp Cherokee. carold

Back home,.... and had such a great first three days that i signed up for the site for the next week.... so I head back tomorrow! I'll be back here at the house a couple times during the week so I'll try to catch up. Have a great site,... overlooking the small lake....

Our site is huge,... and LEVEL!



and last night we had a nice campfire and friends stopped by for the evening. Does it get any better?



Wish my sisters from this forum could have been all camping with us too!

Oh, Cedar, I certainly can see why you're headed right back there! Just another reminder to those pinching pennies, it's not necessary to get far from home to feel like your a world away!
