Chilly Saturay Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

A Cheery Good Morning to you all,

Bit chilly here at the 45th, 29 degrees, brrrr. But the sun is shining so that's good. Been having a wonderful time with both Brenda and Carolb these past couple of days. Carol is heading out later this morning on the next leg of her journey toward home. Sorry to see her leave and wish I were following along. But I know we will meet on the road someplace down the line again. And yes, Kathleen, she indeed should be out good will ambassador.

Brenda worked on the new TT cushions after we got home from some sight seeing yesterday afternoon. Foam is all cut, one cushion has it's new cover on and the next one will be done today. Enough material left to do some more so we are going to Hobby Lobby this morning to buy some different contrast fabric to do the cornice boards and whatever else we get into. Will also probably cut down the foam for the bed as it's bigger than I need, but cheaer to buy than have custom cut. Sassy might benefit from getting a new bed with the left over foam.

CArol, you sound like you have found yourself a place to park for the tme you have to stay in FL. Hopefully a few people will stay around there so you have some company. But you never know what might be in store for you yet this summer. Surprising things do happen. Kathleen, how wonderful that Cheryl will be visiting you. Watching the horrible fires in CA, I'm glad none of our members are in dager there but know that some of you are worried about friends and family members of friends etc. Irmi, nice that you made it nome safely and that your dad is doing okay. Hope you get all the issues with the new MH taken care of and then you can register it and be all set. I'm sure the road will call you someplace yet this summer, even if not too far from home.

okay, enough jabbering here. Time to sign off. Wishing you all a really wonderful day out there. And safe travels to those who are out and about.

good morning ladies
temps really nice outside right now so the plan for today is to get out there and get some outdoor stuff done before it
heats up.
Had the handyman over last evening to help me sort out the problem with my black and gray tank issues. Seems theres
a leak somewhere when it gets full, and it seems to get full too often and I'm using way less water than I used to in the
old spot. Also have had the gray tank valve closed but doesn't seem like it is cause when I opened it, nothing came out.
In the meantime, the hose is not draining properly, and the water is pooling down in the bottom of the hose. I say the
pipe coming out of the ground is too high and need to call the park office and see what to do about that. Dumping the
tank has become a real chore as I have to lift the hose several times to get it all emptied out. The new toilet install is
scheduled for Sunday. Will re-evaluate the system after the new toilet is in with new seals, etc but still going to call
the park office next week about the pipe coming out of the ground.
One last week of school, I'm so ready for this school year to come to an end.
Maggie has discovered Gracie's old toy basket, picked out a few she likes and took them to bed. I've slowly been able to
"retire" some of the girls old blankets, beds and other items, feels likes its time.
About time to get off the computer and get dressed. Ya'll have a great day and be safe. Hope everyone is having good
weather, and all the winds die down.

Good morning Sue, Kathy & all who follow,

Love to see what everyone is up to - I really appreciate knowing when individual blogs are updated so I'm reminded to go to them.
Yes, Carolb IS our good will ambassador - I believe this is her true calling - spreading joy & friendship far & wide.
Barbie, I hope your visit with Naomi went well - looking forward to some pics & I'm praying that someone or something is able to stop your dad from driving. Good luck with packing.
Kathleen, good luck with your catarat surgery. I love how you described Carolb "She roams the country and has a pocket full of happy dust sprinkling it on everyone she meets. " - you nailed it! And don't worry about being too mushy - that's just your loving heart peeking out at the world.
Irmi, hope you're able to get everything you need for your MH to pass inspection.
And Soos, 2 grandbabies - what joy!

Sun is shining here in KS. Temps are low, but should return to normal later this week. Personally, I like it a little cooler but others are looking forward to the summer heat :D

Had a pleasant experience taking my travelin' van to the shop. I'd noticed a leak on my driveway lately (not terrible but I don't like to let things like this go) so I took it in to be looked at - terrified of what they would find. Got a pleasant call yesterday - it was a tranmission pin thing - they had to rebuild it - total cost $250! Woohoo! It's back home & ready to roll.
And... since the repair didn't break the bank, I'm going to drive up to St. Paul MN on Tuesday to attend a fundraising dinner for the Bolivian university the kids & I spent time at years ago. So excited to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones & to just be on the road! :D

Well, I'd better get moving - need to de-winterize the van & figure out how to use the furnace. UPDATE: I figured out the furnace!!! woohoo!!! MN, here I come!

Enjoy your day!

Good Morning,

Lots of good news on here!! Well, not so much for Ava's leaks, etc. :(

It's break out cool weather clothes here today - cloudy and not to reach 60.

Fun day yesterday having lunch with two nieces and then spending the afternoon with them. They are 21 and 29. Even found out sister is speaking to me - just not responding to messages, FB posts, etc.

Kansas daughter posted video on FB of grandson's sax solo with jazz band! Blew me away!

Diane's 2 year old granddaughter is coming for a couple hours this morning. We are taking her to the firemen's pancake breakfast. I found that a local men's Gospel group is having a concert in Sequim this afternoon so we are going that - I always enjoyed them when I lived here.

Wishing you all a day of more good news!

Good morning (barely!). Fell asleep early last night and slept in late today. I had a great visit with my daughter yesterday and just posted pics on a separate thread.

It is sunny and 60 out right now (feels colder in here tho :? ). Need to get my windows open. Will be in the 70's all week! Yay!! :D Everything is getting so nice and green now! Finally starting to feel and look like spring! :D

Lots of sorting and cleaning to do today. Not much time left so must get busy!! Sure am going to miss my view of the lake here but will have a lot less worries at the new place. At least there, I can still go outside and enjoy the lake. When I lived there before, I would go out to the end of the docks early in the morning when it was quiet and still, and meditate. Was really neat! In the afternoons, I would go back out and watch the boats all cruising by. So it will still be very enjoyable there. It will actually get me outside more that way, instead of just sitting on the couch looking out the window.

Have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Cooler weather and the wind has died down. Fires almost all out. It has been a sad start to the fire season.
Watching softball on TV this weekend...love it. Lyn

Evening here. Had a good sale and took two car loads of left overs to Good Will... did not want to bring much back in. Now I must tell myself not to get more to throw away next time...

It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a sale. Margie got here at 6 and we started getting the tables ready for the 8 start. wow people started coming at 7. All in all is was a fun day we started putting things into the cars at noon. I got home about 2:30 sat in my chair and rested until 5 then started to try to finish up the motor home things. It is getting down to the end and it is piddly stuff I do not know what to do with...

Kathy you are welcome to come Wed when Cheryl is here if you can... It would be nice... a gabfest either way!!

My daughter and son in law are here for the tables and I am going to ask John to back the MH in for me. The man that used to mow my lawn was suppose to come at 8 and he was a no show. Another man came bye about 1 I gave him the job for the season and he charges $20 instead of $25... my daughter wanted the grass well mostly dandelions cut they were so tall... before the sale... it is done now and he even blew off my deck with all of the flying seeds that are here this time of year... next it will be the cotton from the trees... now that makes a real mess...

Nice to see the great pictures Barbie...

Me and My Shadow say we saw Hildi and her new rescued Piper... she is so sweet...
Kathleen or Kathy

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]
