Here it is Tuesday...and it's now Morning...and I'm feeling like I was hit by a freight train...woke up with critters singing..Yep, and not like them birds...and as soon as I Yelled..it went dead silent...cepting I still had this awful ungawdly headache.. Got up let my "darlings' out and took 3 tylenol..and guess what..I'm gonna head back to bed...!!!

Yesterdays meeting with the Board was uneventful ...in fact couldn't get this on the agenda...will have to wait till next board meeting..and of course all info in...Politics hits Home Owners Associations big time too ! Just in case you think not check some articles regarding their scenerio...

Ok, I'm just blanketed with not feeling well..and my eyes are squinting as I attempt to even type...So...that being said, "You is all on your own"

My coffee pot is always on..and so is my Whistling kettle..although I have to tell you ..Today I have it on Gag...don't need any high pitch sounds..:)

May your Adventures be Great Ones and Your Journey be a Safe One too !

God Bless

Zeee...making a dive for the warm bed... till I feel better...!!

Just go with the flow !

Good Morning, Barb, and all.

So sorry you are feeling so icky this morning, Barb. Maybe all this negotiating has been too stressful too soon after your other stress. Please, please take care of yourself, and get a lot of rest. You need to keep yourself in shape. We can be more careful here in the kitchen...don't worry about us. And Beth is good at cleanups of this site, if we slip once in a while!

For all others, may you have a good day and happy travels if you are on the move again. Always keep an eye to the sky, too, as the weather has been very fickle in this country lately.

Happy trails to you all!

Good morning ladies! So sorry you're not up to par Barbz, hope the Tylenol and sleep will do the trick for you. Too much stress over all your meetings, maybe. Stress will give you a headache for sure.

Love the little birdies on the branch this morning. They're singing here too, and Bandit just had to go out on the pool deck before the crack of dawn to watch them. He's been in for a snack since then and back out again.

Ok, washing out my coffee cup and putting it away, then off to read the general forum.

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Barbz so sorry to hear that your feeling Yukky this morning. Waiting up with a headache in the morning is the absolute pits!!!! Them buggers are no fun at any time but to wake up with one really is worse. Hope the Tylenol and sleep do the trick for ya.

It's chilly here this morning but it's suppose to go up to in the mid 40's today and up into the mid 50's tomorrow. Boy am I gonna be able to handle that!!! I am so looking forward to Spring. It's my mostest favorite season. :D

Kelly and I are on vacation next week. Finally got the approval for our vacations yesterday, it's was still up in the air until then. So as of right now the trip to NY is on. It will be so good to see everyone in NY after not seeing them for 2yrs. I need to call my best friend Laura to let her know that we will be coming up. WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO

Nothing much of anything else going on here. Don't know if I can handle all this excitement in my life.

Ok gonna go check email, comics and read a few posts. Hope everyone has a great day, be sure to stay safe, warm or cool depending on where your at.

Love to all

Good-morning Everyone !! Barbz, I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well this morning. Stress is a terrible thing !

I love the little birds this morning, so cute. When Maggie and I, were out earlier heard a big bird or loud mouth, couldn't find it, Maggie stopped dead in her tracks looking. Sure didn't sound like it would be a cute little bird like these.

Its still cold here, but not much wind this morning, so not too bad. This winter is doing its best to convince me, I don't want to spend another winter here. Maybe its an age thing too

Well I'm off today to the library, books are due back today. Few more errands I need to do too. One being change oil in my car after that fast trip south last week. Sorry, I didn't get back to Liz's in time to visit with you Barbz. Crowd at my sisters and my car was where I would have had to ask several to move and they would have left, so didn't want to be responsible for cutting others visits short.

I'll never catch up here on the forum, when I am not on here, you all get so busy with all your happenings and I hardly know where to start. So glad we have this thread and Barbz is so good to catch us all up. Thats hard work too and lots of time, but I sure appreciate it.

Well, I've had enough coffee and will pass on the goodies, if I don't start passing such up, I will have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe, which I can't afford. :D

Have a Great day everyone. Stay warm and most of all safe, if you're on the road.

Barbz, I can relate to the waking up with a headache thing. Sucks. Hope the tylenol knocks it out of your system and the shut-eye helps to relax ya.

Echo, don't know if you all will be traipsing up (or down) 95, but I'm not far from exit 77B and we could meet for a cuppa or some lunch or dinner iffin ya are. It'd be good to see you all again.

It's cold here again this morning. The nerve of Mother Nature! I too am sooooo ready for Spring.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Aw, Zeee, take care of yourself and get rid of the headache. Hopefully that sleep that you were deprived of will do the trick.

Looks like the sun's gonna warm things up wonderfully here today while I work. Will be nice to be able to take off my sweatshirt for just a t.

Went to a going away party last night for a couple who were leaving this am. Great food, good company - was nice. But am sorry to see them go - and discovered they had already left early today - as they were gone when I walked down for work at 6 am. Ah, all you early bird people :) Makes me realize just how soon it'll be me pulling out.

That said, Karen and Sparkle, it looks like one of my friends here at the park will be driving her little rig to Port Lavaca for our little gtg, too. Maybe one of these days I'll get her on this forum, too.

OK, off to read before I head back to work. Have a great day all.

Paulette, will have to take a miss on meeting for coffee or dinner.

We will be going straight up i81 up thru Harrisburg then up rt15 toward NY. We're going just across the NY state line in the middle of the state. We were born and raised in Elmira NY.

Would have loved to GTG again but not this time. Bummer!

Morning, All....Ernie's off golfing and I'm doing the "wify" stuff today....you know, a little cleaning and of course, the laundry....but it doesn't take me very long... ;)

Sorry you are feeling under the weather today, Barb....I agree it is probably a "stress' related headache...take the day off and rest....
Echo, you and Kelly take care doing US 15 at this time of year...remember those roads can be awful this time of year....and it always snows in late Feb. early March....

Okay...before I get my "motor" going, I'll go read what you all have been up to...
Have a great day, All!!!

Hey Lori!

Yeah we will be careful. I'm watching the weather channel and they are showing a huge swath of white in that area. I'll tell I sure do miss the money I use to make driving truck but I sure the he77 don't miss driving those dang snowy, icy roads in the northeast!!!

If for whatever reason I got back into trucking I would do a southeast run.

Sorry, Barb, that you are not up to par...rest up!!

I had the most delightful walk this morning with my pooch....40 minutes partway around the lake, furthest we have gone before and we stopped only because we hit an 'up' LOL! Should have taken my phone and taken photos. We surprised 8 Canada geese, 6 walking on the ice just offshore and two of whom (along with a pair of ducks) were in the small strip of open water near the shore. The scene was incredible in the early morning mists...!!

But...here is one of my pet peeves. This park is a leash law park except on the far side of the lake and yet people persist in letting their dogs run free and poop everywhere!! The rules are posted everywhere. It bugs me no end to see irresponsible pet owners... My dog is not too friendly when approached by big bounding dogs off leash and I hate to think she might hurt one of them someday but ...well, little dogs can be very protective of their owners! This morning, the idyllic scene of the geese resting on the ice (we were perhaps 8 feet away but quiet so they stayed) was interrupted by a huge boisterous golden retriever who started barking at all the birds and they flew away, honking angrily...:( It was too bad...I reminded the jogger (when he finally turned up to call his dog off) that he should be on a leash (maybe both the owner and the dog LOL!) and his response was "No reason to get freaked. He is just saying hello"... The egocentricity of some ppl huh?!!

You said it, Jan....it's people like that that tend to spoil it for us responsible pet owners, and it makes me SO MAD to see rules broken like that. Congratulations for saying something to the A-Hole who had let his dog spoil a really idyllic excursion. His reply to you was totally out of order----so glad I wasn't there to hear him. I tend to 'FREAK,' as he says, at comments like that!

Jan: Dog owners like that really get my Irish up! I run into them all over, including Mt. Rainier Nat. Park on the back trails where dogs are not allowed at all. They seem to think the rules do not apply to them and ruin it for the rest of us. Grrrrr!
