Hope you feel better soon, Sheila. I use Zicam to help shorten a cold's life. Rest and take care of yourself.

Aw Sheila. I'm sorry you're feeling down. But you're right, it's just a day. In a day or so you'll be better and able to see your kids and grand kids. It's hard being a mom sometimes, but full of joy most of the time. Here I am at 1:40 in the morning thinking about my son. Take care of yourself and I look forward to seeing you soon.

I will have you know that it has been THREE months today since I have had a real cigarette. ;) But before anyone gives me a standing ovation I have to admit that I have been using an e-cig. But I'm slowly reducing my use of them too.

That's great, Pat! I've tried the e-cig, but I couldn't get used to it not coming to an end, like when the real cig burns down to the butt.

Yay, Pat. Once you are completely quit of them, you will never regret the struggle!

Good job Pat, no matter what tricks you have to use.

Hi Pat, giving up cigarettes is a hard one, but you are strong and can do it. You don't want baby Bronc exposed to fumes. That's real motivation. Hang tough. Peggy

Pat even the desire to quit is a good motivation... baby steps... remember when your children started to walk they fell down... did you let them not walk because they would fall down... no you encouraged them to get up and try it again... cigarette 's are extremely hard to give up... I have heard they put things in them to make it harder to quit... hang in there we will be here for you...

Good luck! I know several people who have successfully used the e-cigs to quit smoking. Think of all the money you will save (more gas money for traveling!)

Hang in there Pat. Once you do quit for good, you will be so proud of yourself! And, not to have to carry cigs and lights every time you go out is a real pleasure! lyn

A woman came in the store a couple days ago. She paid $7.47 for a pack of cigarettes, opened it, took one cigarette out and gave the rest away. She said she quit but it was a tough day and this way she'd only smoke the one. I applaud her. But boy that was an expensive cigarette.
