HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Postby Colliemom » Sun May 11, 2014 6:40 am

Happy Mothers Day to all you Mothers out there. And for those of us who no longer have our mothers here with us, I know we are with them in spirit. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Heading out for church here in a little while and then off to do a little shopping. Got my TT home safely yesterday. Winds were sustained at what seemed like 25 mph and gusting to at least 30, but we held the road with no issues. Could feel the wind gusts once in awhile but my sway control held her firm. Plus for probably 90% of my drive I was heading south and the winds were mostly from SW. So now it's parked next to my garage, waiting for the fun to start, the which of is going to be starting today if weather cooperates. Time to get in there and start to work on my "mods". And yes, I will take before and after pictures.

Sarah, happy to hear the news on your neice. She is having such a tough battle. Poor girl. And I know you sister is too. Prayers to all of you.

Need to start getting ready for church here, so will say farewell for now. Have a wonderful day everyone. And those is the paths of this next weather front, keep safe and alert.

Good morning Sue & everyone!

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

Sue, that's good to hear that you got the trailer home without any issues, especially with it being as windy as it was. Now comes the fun part!

Today is traveling day for us. We'll end up in VA for one night, waiting for the holiday traffic to subside before we get back on the road tomorrow for the final leg of our trip. It looks like the weather will be perfect for traveling. Have a good day everyone!

Good Morning and Happy Mothers day... I think of the sacrifice Barbie made what a brave young lady you are glad you will see her the end of this week.

My mother has been gone a long time now but there were many mothers days with her. No matter what a mother has done they still are your mother...

Irmi so glad you have lengthened your traveling home. It should be nice by the time you get there.

Sue I believe you can do anything. am looking forward to seeing the customizing you are doing!

Our mothers day will be at Olive Garden 6 pm. My son in law always makes the plans for this day. His mom is gone but he never forgets me. I am blessed.

Me and My Shadow wish you happiness today and safe travels for all on the road

Use today wisely it's all you have; yesterday is a memory; tomorrow a dream... KLW[/b][/color]

good morning ladies and Happy Mothers Day
not doing a whole lot today, some weekend chores and a little of this and that. Woke up to overcast and foggy conditions,
the sun is trying to burn off the cloud cover but so far its not having much luck. Makes it pretty glary but hopefully sometime
today the sun will shine.
Ya'll enjoy your day.

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day (and those who have furkids ARE mom's too!).

Calm quiet morning here after mild rain storms last night. The lake is getting very high. Many docks under water around here now. Supposed to rain off and on all week.

Sarah, how old is your niece? Hope she starts improving now and getting stronger soon.
Sue, have fun decorating!
Kathleen, glad your SIL is treating you to MD dinner! I love Olive Garden!

My mom has been gone for almost 7 years but I know she is with me all the time. I dream about her almost every night. I need to get to the cemetery soon and put flowers on there. Haven't been there for quite awhile. Have to work all day today tho.

Have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Happy Mothers Day to all you moms. Looks like a nice day here today so think I might go to visit the garden in Bigler. It's only open to the public a couple days a year and I've been saying for years I wanted to go see it. Read in the paper that the owner is 102 so really shouldn't put it off any longer! Who knows it it'll be available for much longer! Cloud cover should burn off later and temps go up so should be a great day to go. Will think about my mom too, she loved flowers. Otherwise I just plan a quiet day to do some things I want to get done. Really need to finish getting rv organized. Got a good start of rearranging it the other day, then the rain came again! I've moved things around a bunch of times but think I'm finally happy where stuff is! Maybe  So those of you on the road, be safe and have a good day, everyone.

Good Morning and Happy Mother's Day!!

Irmi, glad you are having good weather for your travels home!

What a nice son-in-law, Kathleen! Last year my SIL here cooked dinner for us, but he works in California and isn't home this weekend.

Sue, it's nice to know how your trailer handles in the wind.

Younger daughter, grandson and I had a good time shopping yesterday. I'll be going to their house today.

In 2006, my older daughter changed our relationship not long before she moved out of state. With e-mails several months later, she really let fly and I found out she thought I had shared news that it wasn't my place to share. When I visit in Kansas, she is always very pleasant and things are fine, but there were things she shut me out of. She blocked me on FB, but she recently changed that! Every year they have an annual weekend 'Brewfest' at their house for her husband's side of the family - several beer makers in the family and a contest. Yesterday she e-mailed and asked when I would get to Kansas in September because they were trying to set a day for this year. I do believe that means I am invited!! Not a bad Mother's Day gift!!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Happy Mother's day!

Anita, that's a lovely Mother's day gift. Hope all goes well.
Lyn, glad you're up & about.
Sue, can't wait to see your mods to the TT.
Ava, loved your flooring - it looks so nice & clean - beautiful.
Barbie, can't wait to hear that you've moved into the new place.
Liz, I love your grand canyon posts.
And Beth - thanks for posting the pic of Carolb - good to see that you had a GTG. Just can't keep that gal in one spot very long.

Just got back from my son's - he & the grandkids made breakfast. :D So sweet.
Got a lot accomplished yesterday & found out that our parish school is having a garage sale in a couple of weeks. In my mind, that means I can eliminate lots of unneeded things I've been holding onto 'in case' I needed them someday. It'll be a win-win situation - the school can make some money & I can start downsizing! :D

Hope everyone enjoys their day.
Take care,
Catherine

My 2 boys came today and let me cook dinner for them. It's been a while since they were both here at the same time. I don't mind cooking. Restaurants are just too crowded today. One of my son's gave me a new GPS. The last time he tried to update my Garmin it didn't have enough memory and I only got the Southeast US loaded.

I need to refill my Hummingbird feeder but the wind is blowing it so much I'm afraid it will just pour out. They are getting a wild ride when they try to eat.

Think I'll try to call my sister and wish her a Happy Mothers day.
