Hi Ladies,
I was active on the Forum several years ago as Foot Loose & Fancy Free. We were just starting out as fulltimers and I had so many questions and you were so patient with your answers. This past March, Foot Loose, my DH of 50+ years passed away so now Fancy Free will be traveling with just our cat, Gracie.

I will be living fulltime in a 5th wheel at a conference center in Florida where I volunteer for my site and wanted something small and manageable to travel in. I am in the process of purchasing a 23.5 Forest River Lexington B+ and sure hope this isn't a mistake. It has everything in it that I need and will be so easy to get in and out of gas stations, grocery store parking lots, and campgrounds.

I know that I will have lots more questions; wish I had paid more attention to the outside duties when DH was doing them. You all are a great encouragement to me. Thanks for being there.

Welcome back to the Forum, Fancy.
I'm sorry to hear about your husband.
It's so difficult to lose a long-term spouse and partner.

But I'm glad to hear you're keeping up with The Lifestyle!
Ask away. Not many questions the ladies here can't answer.

Welcome back Fancy! So very sorry about your other half, that's so hard. Let us know if there's anything we can help you with.

Welcome back. As recommended ask ask ask when you pick up the unit. None of this is rocket science. It is all learnable. And the oopsies make great stories around the campfires. :) and we are here for any additional questions especially if you share pictures!

Welcome, Fancy. So sorry to hear of your loss. Your comment about paying more attention to the outside duties struck a chord with me as I have said the same thing so often. But the gals here have been so helpful and encouraging! I recently changed to a 22 ft Gulf Stream and am trying to learn all about it now and know I have a safety net here with this group! You may find you know more than you think once you get started with it! Ah-ha moments! And no doubt some campfire stories too! You'll do great.

Welcome back. Sorry for your loss. It should be required that the other half learn how to do stuff on the RV. A lot of the men feel like that's "their" job and the little lady doesn't need to know. However, when something happens its hard on the ladies.

Welcome back. Had a Lexington class B+ and it was a great motorhome. Easy to handle and really well made. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Sorry about your loss but so glad you are still going to fulltime.

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. Miss my DH terribly but as I have been told - life goes on and this is my new reality so pull up my big girl panties and get on with it.
I do love this gypsy lifestyle - places to go - people to meet. Think I might have been born to it as my dad was a long haul truck driver. Looking forward to meeting you on the road and hoping to make it to the Silver Springs GTG in October. Have so many jello plans - just waiting to see how they will set up.
Again, thank you.

Hoosier Welcome back :D

Sorry for your lose.

The "outside" stuff is a piece of cake just takes a little time and doing things in the right sequence, like dump the black before the gray so the gray water helps flush the hose. See, easy peazy ;)

Welcome back. I agree that the outside stuff is easy. You just have to learn it and you'll be fine. Ask any questions. We're all good at answering, sometimes with varying ways and views.

And I'm sorry for your loss.
