Monday...Yep and Morning too...but looks like a clean sweep needs to be done in my kitchen...Goodness gals.. I mean..you were all over the place... What happen to the General Forum.. What a mess on my table..ouch... here comes the broom..

Sure hope ya all had a good weekend..and did ya leave any crumbs...? Well, I'll tell ya what..being it's all in my kitchen..then I'm gonna sweep it under the rug.... My day today is going to be a hectic one.. I have to meet with the Board of Directors..and then I've got to meet with Animal Control Dept.. So I've been up to my elbows in bureaucratic crapola... and hopefully today will be the last of it..or close to the end... I've then got a job to do..Writing a program to install here if all goes well...if not, then my next agenda is to just take care of my and my friends situation once they finally move in here .

I've had a very short visit with my girlfriends in which I feel terrible..as I won't get to see them till next year..but I had to put other things of importance ahead of my friendship.......Sad..and I hope they'll forgive me..but this also will benefit them as well..being they bought in here and also have critters too..

In response to my question..with Large breed Dogs..or "Dangerous Dogs"...certain breeds.. the answer I was given was..."We do everything we can ..but people come first and if we have to shoot, that is what we do...and No we do not carry Dart Guns..as they are not equipped in squad cars...and Animal control only works 8 am - 5 pm Mon- Fri...

We'll see what next happens... and where to go from there...as for here..the Security Guards have to be trained to use a Dart Gun..and most just about know how to use a computer...duh !!! but again..we'll see how the meetings goes....

Ok, now on to the empty forum as most of you just were around my table.....

Asirimarco..(Carol and Bill) are now moving on to Puerto Vallarta...but I have to say, "Carol , that is some neat photos of statues on the beach..is that made in Sand ? Neat seeing the Sugar Cane fields..and boy that truck is sure carry a big load...

Sparkle (Jean) hope you drive safely on your way..and Yes ! Watch out for those wasted tourist traps..if you want to donate..You can donate to my cause..

Birdbybird (Tina) Posted her Short bus...and might say, "Tina, that looks really cozy....and if it's what you need...that's all that matters" I too will eventually downsize ....and I love the able to get around...even if ya have to go shopping..no biggy with that size...however, I'd still like my full bed..now that I have to have..no more fold and unfold for me..did that one for many many moons... ..but this baby is a cute one...thanks for the looks inside..

Sunseeker (Jill and Tommy) Jill so happy to hear things are better with Molly... yeppers them thyroids can do lots and lots of damage.. periodically I check my older critters for thyroid..once had a cat that had an overactive and she almost waisted away..put her on meds and she lived another 4 years... Hey, I'm on thyroid..maybe I'll have another few more lives...alrighty....

Well, it's that time.. I've got some paper work to do..have a Coffee Pot on perking and Kettle Whistling...iffn' ya care to join...have a seat... I have Apple Strudel and Cherry Cheese Danish...Banana Blueberry Nut Bread and Biscotti..(Almond)...that's all that's left from this weekend...so.."mangiare"

Good Morning, Barb, and all!

See what happens when you leave your kitchen for a day??!! Apparently we need you to keep order! Glad to have you back.

The stuff with the animal control officers sounds ominous and ridiculous. Of course they could be trained to used dart guns instead of death bullets, for crying out loud. It sounds as if you now have to wait for a weekend if you need to call 911 for help, if you don't want to face having your furkids shot! Good grief!

Now I'm off to read the rest of the posts that seem to be out of place. Hope you all have a good day doing something fun for yourselves.

Back to work for me after a week of winter break, but I'm ready. Only a few sectional basketball games left, the regular season is over. And,.... I've got reservations for my first camping GTG for the season. I'll be joining other a-frame owners for a reunion in Newburgh, NY in early May. Hope the snowbank is melted by then so i can get "Little Girl" out and ready to roll!

Morning all, I'm on the road again, just can't get that song out of my head, I'll look through CDs to find a copy, maybe that will help! It's gorgeous weather, upper 80s forecast for today through southern AZ. I'm been studying the map and am really excited to visit Big Bend when I get my rig (no laughing! it will happen!). Anybody interested in a long term plan for that? Late fall, next spring? OK, time for one more quick post, check the tires and I'm out'a here! Have a fun day.

Everyone here is up and bouncing like something fun should be happening. I love the joy that the dogs wake up with every morning. Have to say that Herschel. the Golden, is much quieter than the smaller ones. He just stays next to my chair with one eye one me, in case I should get the good sense to GO SOMEWHERE...... Too cold this morning but the sun is shining......so they have hope. Take care, stay warm, make plans to trips.......and more trips...

I feel guilty this a.m. as I am on Bills computer NOT (the only one with Internet - one per campsite allowed!) Any way it is getting real warm here - so we are going no further south, will start heading inland tomorrow. I cannot stand the heat and tfrom now on the parks only have 15amp outlets - can't run the air conditioner. The campground we're in now is beautiful - and as all we are finding full of Canadians - no one must be in Canada in the winter. Big sites, lots of grass, trees, flowers, 2 pools, access to beach, RIGHT turn between two buildings. Had to unhook the car while blocking all traffic. Such fun.

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

I got up at 9am but no, I didn't sleep in cause I didn't go to bed until 1am. I was gonna post by 10am but got sidetracked reading my online news. One article totally caught me by surprise!!!! It's been 27yrs since ABBA split up and went their separate ways! 27yrs? Holy crap!!!! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago. Now I'm sorry but that scares the billy bejeebers out of me! Freaking he77 where does the time go? All of a sudden I feel ancient! Where's my pureed meatloaf, oxygen tank and wheelchair??? Jeeze!

Cold here in TN, only suppose to be in the middle 30's today. Brrrrrrr I am so ready for some warmer weather and little green leafy things to start popping.

Barbz I did try to clean up a little! But you know how it is when ya got people running in and out of the kitchen and they're all grabbing something different to eat and drink!!! Maybe we all ought to draw straws and set up a roster for clean up detail?

Ok Kelly is in the shower and I need to get dressed to head off to that nasty thing called a job. YUCK!!!

Barbz, I just want to say that I admire you for taking on the powers that be in regard to pet vs human. Wouldn't it be great if you could get them to always have a dart gun and some different sized darts (for different sized pets) to use. Or maybe they could have a hot dog laced with something to toss to the animal? There has to be a better way than to shoot the animal. I know some don't agree on here, but I understand the person first stand that they must take. I'mnot saying that I applaud it, but I understand that their mission is to help humans and they have to do what they have to do to make sure that happens. I just think there has to be a better way than to shoot at an animal that is mearly doing its job (protecting the human that it loves).

Okay, I'll stop now. And I promise to clean up after myself in the kitchen from now on so you don't have to sweep stuff under the rug!

Have been doing some cleaning here, too.....Ernie's off golfing today, so I get it done when he's not under foot....

Cool here in Mississippi, but the sun is out, so maybe it will warm up soon...
