Moving ON near Puerto Vallarta

We left Mazatlan yesterday a.m. and after US61 in tolls, 7 hours and 240 miles we ended up north of PV about 35 miles.
Mexico 15D the toll road was pretty good, but expensive! Then at Tepic we turned off 15D on to Highway 200! Very interesting drive. First through sugar cane country
he is selling sugar cane cut into 1 inch hunks - standing in the middle of the street

We are at a beautiful campground in Lo de Marcos - a bitch to get into but nice - more on that later
Drove into Puerta Vallarta this a.m.

Beautiful pics Carol. As always. I would so love to be tagging along behind you guys.

One question is driving me rather crazy. (we wont discuss the real fine line of already crazy) But to date what have you spent on tolls to get where you are? And the second part to that question is will be coming back to the states following the same route?? Will be really curious to find out when your back across the boarder what the total is in toll monies spent.

Have you and Bill ever thought of leading a caravan down into Mexico?? Or have you done that at least once already??

Keep the travel log coming with all the pictures too.

So far we have spent $213 in tolls US dollars. But it is worth every penny of it on wear an tear on The Driver and the motorhome and toad.
I keep a good journal of expenses so will let you know when we get home.
Will try to post more pictures later. If I can get his computer again.
