Heading Home finally

Postby asirimarco » Thu Apr 10, 2014 8:32 am

Bill woke up feeling really good yesterday morning so we hit the road. Left Mazatlan around 9:00 and got to a truck stop about 250 miles north around 2:00
Now I remember why I don't like stopping in truck stops! The noise and the traffic.
Today we hope to make it another 250 miles to San Carlos at an Rv park on the Gulf of California - Sea of Cortez - which ever.
Our plans are to get out of Mexico by Saturday....Crossing the border on a Sunday is a day long affair. And Holy Week starts here this weekend. Already the south bound lanes are busy with people heading home to families from AZ and CA.
Wrote about yesterdays drive here http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com
It's 7:30 and he is still in bed. So don't know how he feels today. Was kind of tired yesterday evening.

So glad to hear he's feeling better, that's really good news. I imagine he will be tired after all he's gone through. Be safe, take your time.

So glad he's feeling better. But don't let him overdo driving. It'll sap his energy. Big hugs to you both.

Safe travels. Glad he's better. I know you are eager to be back, but the beauty of your chosen lifestyle is you don't have deadlines. Take your time. Good to hear you're on your way.
