It's HUMP DAY!!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's HUMP DAY!!

Good morning All (wherever you are)!

I never start Morning Coffee; I just log on and read what the rest of you are doing. We took our motorhome to the dealer yesterday to get a few 'small' odds and ends items ready for a trip at the end of the month. One thing that I hope they can do is somehow adjust or replace the step. It is a 'looong' step down from the base step of the coach body to the extended step.

I hope all of you have a good day and, please, be safe!!

One of my professors used to begin Wednesday classes by saying happily, "We have broken the back of the week!" Wednesdays are good days.

Good Morning Ladies, supposed to be a rainy day here, but nobody told the sun !!! Coming in the window so bad and no shade, not seeing that well. Bright lights are really bad right now, for my eyes, but then I never could take sunlight to well.

Found out yesterday there will be no cataracts removed for at least 6 months as it may bring the shingles back  Dr. did say my vision is good enough I should have no problem getting lic renewed. I'm wishing I had done a number of things different at this time, don't ya know ??? I am taking a letter from dr. with me , in case N.C. doesn't agree with him. They like to do vision test without glasses, now how good is that, why do we wear glasses if we don't need them to see properly??

Wow, Sarah !! That is about all I can say, you surely have had it and this just more then tops the cake. Don't you know those things are what happens to other people not us??? Sure hope things will settle down for you soon. How is your niece doing ??? Hoping to hear some good news for her soon. Take care of yourself, so you can deal with all this other junk. Did the cops catch the bad guys??

I'm not really uptodate on the forum, hope all are doing good and staying well. Doubt I will ever really catch up, you all do so much in such a short time, miss one day and I'm lost, miss more and forget it   Hopefully Spring is springing in most areas or at least some. Not sure what its doing up home yet, guess I should be checking into it, but for right now, need to be hunting for a way home :o Who ever I find, needs to have time to take me to drivers lic office before leaving me, plus if they drive my rig up I will have to bring them back or they need their own transportation. it'll all work out, right now, I'm just not sure how, all I do hope is it can be within a couple of weeks :) Antsy, that is not the right word !!!!!!!!

Rambling enough, those traveling, hope you're taking time to really stop and smell the roses and for those who can't travel yet, your time is coming, weather has to be good soon!! For those who have to wait for vacation time, your time is coming too, time passes so fast, please don't wish it to go faster

Have a great day, stay safe,
CArol :)

Good morning gals! :D
Picked up my kayak yesterday and dropped it off at my dads house for now until the snow and ice melts around here.
Got a new airbed and memory foam topper too. So nice! I just melt into bed now :D
Also got a new bigger cage for Chelsea. Felt she needed more space to move around during the day while in there. She has three levels and two hammocks to choose from now. (She and Lola are chasing each other around the apartment right now! It is so fun to watch!).
The geese around here are being very noisy right now, even at night. They are fighting over mates!

Sunny today with a high of 75*today! Of course I have to work all day  Not much snow left now.

Have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

We had a front come through yesterday and it got down to 47 last night. Winter just doesn't want to go away. We just got a little rain but it hailed North of here. My son sent me an email that the Weather Channel was coming back. I checked and it's back. YEA! My DH is gone so I can't tell him but he will be so happy.

Yesterday the kitchen sink was draining slow so DH used the plunger on it. Later he saw water coming from under the house. When we looked it was a swimming pool under the house. The pipe coming from the big bathroom hadn't been glued and it came loose. The neighbors came to help and there was a blockage in a pipe outside between the house and septic tank. They got that fixed. So nice to have good neighbors. When out house was delivered they wanted to put it 2 blocks high. I said that's too low and made them put it on 3. We have had to have several things fixed under the house and I don't know how they could have gotten under there with it just being a foot off the slab.

I need to go pick up my glasses that I ordered before my trip to Galveston. I was hoping the CPA office would call about our taxes so I could pick up those papers too.

Good morning all. It's been awhile since I've been here. Been a crazy few weeks. Many road miles running back and forth to the hospital for my BIL. He fought a good fight but finally, after 7 weeks in the hospital, he passed away Sat night. So yesterday was the viewing/ visitation. Long day and bittersweet. Used to be we caught up with relations at weddings and such, now seems to be a funerals. Such is getting older, I guess.

But on to good news. I had posted that I looked at a class C and was going back and forth on the pros and cons. (Thanks for the good advise on that, by the way) Anyway, I drove back up to Erie on Monday, spent some quality time with it and decided to get it! Beth, you were so right, it does have a lot of storage space in it. In answer to Tina's question, the kitchen is in the back. The bathroom is great and love the bigger frig! I tend to use the showers in the campgrounds so that isn't real important to me but will be nice to know it's there. We always avoided campgrounds with cold showers so this may open up new possibilities for me. Deeann, over the years we have owned and traveled in TTs, As, and Cs as a family and then with DH. So now it's time for me to go my way on this! Big decision but it does feel right. So now I need to start clearing out the RT and try to get it sold. I will pick up the new one in a couple of weeks. Haven't figured out photo posting yet from my ipad so if and when I do I'll try to post pics of the new ( to me) rig! Wan to look into a rear camera system for it. Not sure about just using side mirrors only. Any thoughts??

A big welcome to all the new members I've failed to welcome! These gals rock! Know lots of you are traveling now or getting ready too. Saw lots of RVs on the many miles I've traveled the last few days. Wondered if they were any of you!! Be safe. The coffee is always on!

Sharon, sorry to hear about your BIL :( Condolences to you and your family.
Congrats tho, on the new to you RV! How fun will that be?!! So many new rigs this spring!

I am so happy!!! :D I just got my laptop back from the shop (after returning the dreaded Win8 one). They were able to retrieve most of my stuff from the old hard drive including favorites and passwords! Yay! Now I can pay my bills on line again!

I noticed I have a Google Chrome icon on my screen. Anyone know anything about that?

Sharon, I'm so excited for you. Can't wait till you are in it and traveling. I will say, if you start using your shower you'll probably start hating using cg showers. I like knowing my shower is clean and I don't have to traipse back and forth.

Barbie, Google Chrome is another browser.

Put my window Screenz on the new rig for the first time yesterday. Was so afraid they wouldn't fit, but they do. I'm so happy.

Don't usually post much but being as it's a nice day & some of the stressful stuff is now taken care of...Had to pull RV out of storage for the smog test/DMV renewal. What a hassle... waited almost an hour for him to get to me, then he messed around & messed around so much that I lost my patience & confronted him. Found him standing in the back smoking.... boy, I'll tell ya, about that time I was 'smoking' too. Had my dog with me & had to stand out in the lot with her & it was in the mid 80's... I had brought water for her but still... so I told him, I want it finished now .... & a few more words... anyway, then I took the dog & got into the RV while he supposedly finished... wasn't 5 min. later he was done... think my being inside prompted his haste...(finally)... Then I took her to the gas station & filled up ($3.89 a gal. for reg.)...big $$$'s left there....Put her back in storage till next Mon. when I will bring her home to pack up for my trip to Los Angeles area...
I also purchased a new desktop, due to the fact that my old Dell (2003) has XP on it & I don't want to lose anything now that Microsoft has pulled out tech support... anyway, ordered one on Amazon with Windows 7 on it...(I also will not use 8... it's a nightmare)... anyhow, after I ordered & paid for the Win. 7 model, I got an email saying they were going to upgrade me to Win. 8... got right back at them & ended up cancelling the order... that too, was a nightmare... not really happy with Amazon this time. Ended up ordering directly from Dell with Win. 7 on it.... Going to have it delivered to my daughter in Palos Verdes (where I'm going) & bring my old Dell with me so that her Tech guy can transfer everything over for me.. Am kind of excited. My old Dell was & still is a really good computer, but it's time for the new one... and really don't want to deal with Windows 8 for sure... So that's my story & am really glad the last few days are over.... Don't do well with a lot of stress lately... maybe it's old age, but I think the incompetent people I've dealt with has added fuel to the fire !!! Anyhow, hope all are having a great day... wishing safe travels & healing powers to those that are ill in body, mind or spirit.... :D
