If I find what post this is a continuation of, I'll move it :)

That said, I have my few "real" glasses carried inside my biggest pot. I use that same stuff I line my cabinets with here to go around the glasses when I travel. I also use it between plates, etc. Nothing moves ... at all. The danger is, every time I get ready to travel, I leave somethings out without putting the stuff around or between them - cuz I only had one problem. Be aware, that one problem happened cuz I didn't do ANYTHING to protect my stuff. Even non-breakables will break LOL

Good luck.

I have 4 glass wine goblets, each stuffed in a doubled tube sock and placed in a large tupperware container. It works to keep them protected.

Before I drink wine with you, may I ask if the socks have been used?

Hubby recieved a whole package of tube socks as a gift one year...neither of us like tube socks so I've put them to use as glass savers and water bottle cozies! When I worked at Lowe's garden center I took a quart bottle of water and a bottle of gatorade to work everyday with a tube sock folded down inside of iteself around them -- it worked like a charm, kept them cooler but I got lots of interesting looks and questions. I said no...the socks were clean and had never been on a foot! But, I could have been ornry and said "yeah, I just took them off in the breakroom and put them on my gatorade bottle!"

I use a beer six-pack carton for my glasses. I don't drink beer so I had to rescue the carton at my son's house. It works well.
