Ms Tioga and George

Postby asirimarco » Fri Apr 04, 2014 8:42 am

For any of you who used to read Ms. Tioga and George - he is in California. Around the first of March he had a heart attack while driving Ms tioga near Bakersfield. He had open heart surgery and is now recovering in a hotel in Bakersfield. Ms Tioga was destroyed. He is posting to his old blog again you can read about it here http://blog.vagabonders-supreme.net

As for us - Bill is finally out of the hospital. On antibiotics and has to return to clinic for urine test tomorrow to make sure infection is staying gone.
We've paid rent here in RV park until April 23 so there is no rush to leave - and our visas are good till May 21. But I think we'd both like to get on the road asap. Depends on when he feels he has his endurance back. It is not like driving on the interestates in the US. And our poor little hometown is flooded - luckily we live on the top of a hill - but probably can't get to the house because of the rain and flooded roads.

Sad to hear about George and Ms Tioga. Thankfully, he is recovering from the heart surgery, and no one was injured in the wreck of the RV. It Will be interesting to see what he decides to do next.

Glad Bill is recovering too. Take your time coming north.

Carol, thanks for letting us know about George. I really missed his posts, but got tired of checking every day and seeing nothing. I hadn't checked in months. Sorry that Miss Tioga is no more, but happy to know that George is going to be all right.
Glad to hear that Bill is also on the mend and you will be heading home.
Take care and safe travels always. Peggy

Thanks also from me for telling us about George. I think about him often and how he gave me the courage to go full time. Please tell him that he has a lot of friends out here that really care.

Carol, I'm glad to hear Bill is out of the hospital. As long as you have the time, use it and make sure Bill is really ready for your journey home. All the best to Bill for a speed recovery.

It's good to hear the George is also recovering.
