Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Weds. Morning...

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Wed Apr 02, 2014 7:08 am

Good morning, all....

Looks like the allergy induced head cold is on it's way out....actually, slept a full 8 hours without getting up...although I'm still sleeping in the recliner, but hopefully that will change soon...

Warm weather has finally found GA.... :D The shorts or capris are finally the "dress of the day"..... ;) So am happy here...

Going to visit our friends who have the 3 "Doodle-dogs" today....Doggy play date for Spinner and lunch for us with good friends....

Okay, got to get busy here..

So, help yourself to the coffee here and some toast with strawberry jam...

Have a great day, all...

Thanks for the coffee, pretty fuzzy this morning from allergies myself.

Another dreary day here in Central IL, our weather forecasters have promised 2+ inches of rain in the next 36 hours. On the plus side we're leaving one month from today for FL, cannot WAIT!!

Good morning Lori & Mickie & all to follow :D

Allergies! I had to start taking OTC med about a week ago! & Tigg's still coughing, especially if I'm late on giving him his dose of benadryl!

MARE & COLT--love those names, Cheryl! Kathleen, you'll do fine on your trip home! Like you said, take your time, no hurry!

Outta here today! Yep, lunch with sis & then head east. Had a chance to leave & took it before cousin/aunt had another emergency or something :? So sad to say good bye to aunt--probably won't see her again....BTW, aunt in FL is doing fine. Hasn't fully recovered her memory, but still a feisty one!

Looking forward to time in the desert, get away from the hustle/bustle of these metropolitan-ites! Anita, may be in Q as early as this Fri. Looking forward to seeing you Wed, still. Who else is there? Beth back in Tucson--new rig :P Sheila, you still in Q??? A week in the desert will be my first "vacation" since Nov 25th!

Y'all have a great day, be safe, healthy & happy! 8-)

Morning all,

Beautiful sunshine here this morning. Bagel and strawberries in the tummy and I'm ready to roll. Took off the last of the plastic inside storm windows this morning, so now can wash the windows when mood strikes. Time to start getting ready for those warmer, open the windows days to come. Want to run vac in house and then run to town for some canned food for Ms. Sassy. Didn't realize I was down that far or would have gotten it yesterday. But good chance to get truck washed too. Want to install the new tonneau cover this afternoon maybe. Should be nice In the warm sun even if it's just around 40.

Allergies seem to be the word of late. Hope you all start to feel better down the road. Lunch with friends and play time for Spinner sound like fun Lori. Still wish you and Ernie would be heading for KS in Sept. Actually you can do LA like he wants, but kind of take the "long way around" to get there  Carolb, have a great time in the desert. You are going to have some wonderful company out there and then be starting that long slow trek toward home.

Hope you all have a wonderful day out there today. I'm outta here.....

Good morning
Beautiful spring day in north AL. So wish I could open up the house for fresh air but the high pollen count makes that impossible. Think I'm setting daily records for sneezing - nothing seems to be helping with the allergies. Thunderstorms tonight might clear the air a little.

Back had been improving but woke up hurting again this morning. Trying to be careful with it but not sure what to try next. Did dust the WiiFit off and doing the easy balance routines past couple of days. Really pitiful performance on the routines - like starting from scratch again.

Niece passed reevaluation yesterday morning and resumed chemo in the afternoon. She is down under 100 pounds now and struggling to eat.

Been home for 2 weeks now but it feels like 2 months. At least I've made a bit of progress on to do list - would have accomplished more if not spending so much time looking at RVs on line. I need better sleeping arrangement than I have in Magic and love the new RUVs with twin beds but will likely keep trying to resolve comfort issues in what I have. Guess dreaming doesn't cost anything but time.

Have to do some grocery shopping today but don't know what I want. Been trying to seriously reduce the processed foods in my diet but that is a challenge as I'm not all that fond of cooking.

Very disappointed that all the sites in main loop for KS gtg are taken. Know I cannot walk the distance between the loops but considering reservation anyway. Really do not want to miss tho one.

Welcome to all the new members. Have a good one.

I hardly ever cook and seem to exist on hummus, cheese, veggies, oatmeal, and wine.

Least Sarah paint an unflattering picture of her cooking skills...she has been known to cook and fix very nutritious meals and snacks for guests in her home. Maybe more and more of us need to steer our travels through Huntsville...to support her in healthy eating. :)

(Don't tell that woman from NW TN though....you never know what she might pull out of her kitchen for you if she should get jealous.... I have heard rumors about her cooking for years from someone in Louisiana..... :o )

Poor Sarah needs a break from it all - she should come here and be taken care of.

I just made my very first ever homemade custard pie. And homemade chocolate whipped cream. Alas, I had to give it all away. But they (weekend turkey hunters) promised reviews, good or bad.

Tomorrow's experiment will be Chocolate Lasagna.
