What to do?

Well, I did it to myself....I was curious about a class C 22ft Gulf Stream I saw and went to "look" at it yesterday. I think I fell in love. while I repeat that my Road Trek has so much to like about it the one thing that is rough is the headroom. I am tall so I do a lot of hitting my head or ducking. The C is so much roomier and has plenty of headroom. I was a bit afraid to drive it but turned out it was a dream to drive. The one downsize I see is the lack of storage space outside, the RT has a nice area for extra stuff (sewer, water hose etc) but the C has a very small space. So I'm really in a dilemma as the best way to go. Been re-reading some of the past posts on pros and cons but still confused! Question is what am I willing to give up to get other things I would like to have. I really didn't think I'd be that taken with something else over the RT. So with all that being said guess I need to go back to the pro and con list and see how it plays out.

Unfortunately, only you can answer that questions. My Gulfstream didn't have a lot of outside storage but had a LOT of inside storage. And I guarantee you'll have way more storage in the rig than the RT has. That says, yep, only you can decide. But you say you fell in love? That's how I bought both my rigs - I stepped in and knew they were meant for me. Was really hard to give up the Gulfstream, as she was very good to me for 9 years, and I really loved her - but when I stepped in Minnie - well, just like 2005 all over again - knew I found my new home ... for hopefully lots and lots of years.

Good luck and we'll stand behind whatever decision you make. (Remember things in the C like the larger fridge and real bathroom not a wet bathroom, too ... although those might not be as important to you as they were to me. Being short the ceiling height was so important to me - I need a little step to do most everything now.

To me when I walk in the Road Treks I notice the lack of head room and feet room. I am 5'9" and wear size 12 shoes in women's....My feet need a place to turn around and that isn't even talking about space for the four legged companions.... :)

Look to see if there area differences in tank capacities.....

Does this BTouring have the kitchen in the back or on the side next to the couch?

Sounds like you're ready to move up to a class C. But look around more before you make up your mind to buy this one. There are lots of Class C's on the market. Many of them will have more outside storage. It's easy to fall in love with the first one you see but you might find one you like better if you look around.
