I see how birdwatching could become a habit - makes you notice the beauty of creation in these small & unique creatures.
Lovely views abound in & around paradise. :D

Liz, I loved this post as I have loved the Cave Creek area. This is where I got my brown AZ woodpecker. Many years ago, on a trip with the SD Natural History Museum, we stayed at that research station. Thanks for bringing back such wonderful memories.

The colors on those rocks are beautiful! Very pretty area.
