Oh my gosh is right! Glad the two of you are okay. Hope it wasn't anything serious with engine that caused it. Glad both of you are okay and it wasn't on the freeway at high speed.

Got the door and windows open. There's a nice breeze and so far, no storms. Doing a load of laundry. Got the vacuum filter blown out and vacuuming done. Wasn't easy, as I'm in such pain! Caught a cold a week or so ago and really hurt my ribs with the coughing  I was thinking that the last time I had a cough like that was probably in 2005. I cracked a rib, then. I feel like an elephant stepped on my chest!!!

Ken is leaving AZ next Mon :D He will be bringing Tootsie Pop (my new car) to me....YEE HAWWW!!! It will be so nice to have a car, again. Thank God for my friends, here, who have taken me with them to get groceries. We will stay here until mid April. I start work at Adventureland on the 26th, but don't have to be there until 5 or 6 days before. Ken has his house for sale in MI. Hoping he gets it sold and can spend some of the summer with me.

What an awful scare for you Irmi... glad you are both ok...

I am getting ready to leave Ocala... I got Shadow 'trimmed' on Tuesday... my friend Molly was with me when I told her to just trim him and cut the hair close on his feet... when we picked him up she had skinned him... I have to cover him with a blanket at night now... will get him a coat on Sat... NEVER will I got to Magnolia animal hospital again... at least not for grooming...

The drama keeps coming from my twins that is the reason I deleted Facebook... has anyone ever heard of divorcing children so they have no way to touch your belongings?

Good night all

Write them out of your will? Get a restraining order?

Sorry you are still having problems with them. That is a frustrating situation to say the least!

Are you driving yourself back home or is your son coming down to drive you back?

Poor Shadow being all nekkid and all right now. :( Regarding the kids, have you thought about a trust? Wills can be easily contested, but from what I've heard, trusts are pretty much solid and keeps things out of probate also.

Kathleen, that is a shame that your kids are being so cruel. Get a living trust and put everything you own into it. My Grandson got his dog "trimmed" and the poor dog came back shaved also! Do they think we won't notice? That groomer lost a customer.

Hello everyone... I am going to drive myself... if I get stuck or worn out I will simply stay a few days in a park... Slowly getting things done to move out Mon or Tue... a friend from Mo will most likely stop by on Sunday... how nice to meet people you have never seen in person..
I am hoping to set up a new Facebook account... I tried this morning but the only e-mail address that I have is not available because it is my old account... I will also look into a trust...

There is a way to set up a different e-mail address on your computer. I use a different one for my facebook account (I also closed my FB account twice before). However, I can't remember how I did that  Maybe Mitch or someone else can explain how to do that.

Here is a link to some good info on ridding yourself of an FB account: https://www.facebook.com/help/359046244166395

Once it's gone (takes 2-3 weeks IIRC) then you should be able to open a new account with your old email. If not, just create a spare account with gmail or yahoo and use that.

Kath: So sorry the twins are still upsetting you. Yes, do look into doing a living revocable trust. I finally got around to doing one and it was not difficult or very expensive (I did use an estate planning lawyer).

Be careful driving home. No need to rush and don't forget, spring is late this year.

living revocable trust.....never heard of it, so of course I googled it
http://wills.about.com/od/fiveessential ... a/rlts.htm
it was kind of hard to understand at first but I think it became more clear as I read on. Think I'll check into doing that while we have lawyer insurance at work. Clearly my dear daughter is the only one capable of taking care of my moneys as I age beyond repair :P

I don't have a living Revocable Trust but I have had an opportunity to handle both my father's and my step mother's over the past few years as they stepped back from financial dealings. My father named me Trustee and removed his name from his trust several months before he passed and I was named Trustee of my step mother's at her passing. It made dealing with financial matters at their passing so much easier. I still had a lawyer walk me through processes after their passing but it was so much easier and I had legal access to money to pay those last outstanding bills that came in without having to wait until probate, etc. I was continually thankful to my father for his foresight in setting up his trusts and organizing his financials well in advance.

I did make sure to keep my brother and my step sister in the loop and well informed about any proceedings so that they understood what was happening. Having the lawyer to advice me on how to best inform them of legal steps I was taking gave me peace of mind....
