Thursday warming trend

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday warming trend

Postby bluepinecones » Thu Mar 27, 2014 7:22 am

'Morning
Up way too early (3:30 AM) after only 3 hours sleep. Been playing games on 'puter again waiting for daylight.
My entire system seems to be stuck on malfunction lately; not sure whats going on other than not sleeping is making it harder to tolerate. Back is slowly getting better at least so that is an improvement.
Starting to warm up again here. Lots of pretty things blooming but they are also sending pollen counts too high.
If I can concentrate enough going to make another attempt at taxes today and maybe get Nicky to vet for bath. Not much exciting going on.
Niece had resumed chemo a couple of weeks ago but could not get treatment yesterday; fever and back on antibiotics again. Still loosing weight at alarming rate.
I did finally get Magic moved to her monthly location and most of food out. She sure needs a good cleaning inside - mostly dust and fridge needs defrosting. Maybe next week.
Need to add a big blanket "WELCOME" to all the new members as I gotten way behind in that area.
Have a good one.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!

Morning Sarah and all who follow,

Nice chatting with you on FB last night Sarah. Hope you can get your bodies clock back in rhythm pretty soon.

Bit of light snow here last night, now mix coming in, changing to all rain and then back to light snow again tonight. Looks like typical sprin wants in, winter won't leave battle. So today I am going to do battle with the dust cloth and vacuum. Then a few odd jobs here and there.

Finally got the tow vehicle issue taken care of. Got to the dealers yesterday and after we talked, I came home yesterday afternoon with a brand new Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. It's leased for 39 months. So now I can haul this current TT or whatever with no issues. Still have to trick out the truck with bedliner, running boards and tonneau cover, but at least it have it.and spend the next month figuring out how to work stuff on the dashboard  Now for snow to melt in front of trailer so I can see what the hitch alignment looks like and whether or not to flip the axles on this trailer.

Ms. Sassy got her doggie bath yesterday, her beds are all nice and freshly washed, she's had her meds and been out for morning potty. Is now sleeping again, so all's well in her doggie world.

So on this note, want to wish you all a nice day.

Good morning, all! It's a very soggy morning here in Central IL, way better than snow but I'd sure like to see some sunshine/blue skies/75 degree temps.

Just another day at the salt mines for me; always enjoy reading what you retired gals are up to, have to live vicariously for a while yet.

Rainy, cold and dreary today. Too bad I still have to go out in it. Yucky. More housekeeping (I never get done with it, it seems and the dogs just keep on bringing in more mud but I guess it's better than snow!) and a run to the local Wally world. Not much else. Hope everyone who is feeling poorly feels better soon, everyone who is having troubles get over things soon and those who are having a good day-keep on! TTFN
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

Good Morning All, Night and morning low clouds and sunny afternoons here. Wish we had some of your rain! I've been looking for a long sleeved blouse and couldn't find one the right color until yesterday when I went to the Salvation Army used clothing store...found exactly what I wanted! March madness continues...TV for me tonight.
Sue, my truck is a Chevy Silverado...got it last year...love it...love to drive it.

It's easy to tell that spring is trying to come here in the Palm of the Mitten -- because of the road closures. Lots of traffic being rerouted because of water over the roads, but no real flooding so far. Yay!

G'morning all!! :)

Thanks to all of you who responded to my ins co question. Got a PM actually recommending a couple of insurers, so I've passed that info on. Can always count on my forum friends:)

Sarah, sorry to hear of your niece--I've not kept up with things, so I was sad to hear she hasn't gotten through all this...Ava, will be seeing you in a couple weeks or so? Make sure you keep us posted where you end up. Yep Anita, hot there, but really looking forward to a few days as a desert rat!

I too am off to Wally World this morning, then will think about filing taxes! Y'all have a great day, be safe, healthy & happy always! 8-)

Sarah, glad you are feeling better. My sleep is crazy too. I have a week with my sister coming up and when she get to snoring I can't sleep for sure. This time I have some ear plugs. I don't know why I have such a mental block when it comes to doing our taxes. It only took me 2 days to get it together and I turned them in yesterday. Glad I don't have that to worry about and can enjoy my trip.

I think we have more rain coming but I missed hearing when it's suppose to start. I hate the weather station Diredtv went with.

Back to unloading and loading the motorhome. Yesterday I was cleaning some cabinets and I have 4 extension cords and a power strip. I'm pretty sure I don't need all of that.

My new laptop ended up costing more than I planned, so I am going to have to cancel the order for my kayak :(

I will save up more money before summer to get one then. The ice around here isn't going out anytime soon anyways  Still 3 feet thick!

I did get my State Parks pass for the summer. :D My camping trip to the North Shore in June is all paid for now (except for gas).

It is rainy and gloomy here too. The snow is disappearing slow but sure (until the big storm next week).

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, We are supposed to get a storm again next week ???? Today St Cloud is supposed to get around 5 inches. Our snow fall is more like St Cloud than the twin cities. When will this end? Sorry about the kayak. Maybe you can find a used one.

Martha, I don't know if yall are coming across on I-10 or along the coast, but if you come through Lake Charles, stay on I-10. They have one lane closed in each direction on I-210 because of the new exit they're making between the new casinos and the 210 bridge.
