Wednesday and It's Cold outside!

Morning from the frozen 45th,

It's -6 outside this morning. Way too cold for this time of year, brrrrr. But supposed to get into mid 20's today, so that will be nice. And the sun is warm, so stuff melts anyway. Hopefully one of these days we can talk about warm sunny days and not winter weather anymore.

Off to the groomer with Sassy this morning. Hope she survives. With her hip problem, she doen'st like standing in one spot too long with out shifting around. But the lady who does my dogs, has done them for years, and she's been through this with my other ones, so she knows. But I'm sure Sassy will feel much better after having had a nice warm bath. I don't have a place to give her one here other than my shower, but it's hard on my back and with her thick coat taking time to dry, it's too cold outside for her when she has to go out. Better to take her to groomers.

My truck hunting project got stalled yesterday, due to power outage at dealers, so will do that today instead. Try again.

Otherwisie not much new at the moment. Same old, same old.

Hope somebody has something more interesting to post this morning. so I'm getting off here and letting you gals take over. Just cereal and strawberries here this morning. Oh and toast too if anybody wants some. Sorry, but the pickings are kind of slim this morning. Maybe Lori will make some muffins. Have a nice day everyone.

GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING SUE AND ALL!

It is 46 degrees here in Orlando this morning, but still warm here in the house even without any heat on. I guess, although the insulation in the attic looks all icky and useless, it must be ok still. The carpenters will come today and repaint the white trim stuff and the garage door. Hopefully they can put up the gutters and downspouts by the end of the day, also. He has to adjust some of the soffits to make sure they are cut long enough to seat properly, and to pass inspection by son who will probably come tonight for an inspection. Another nor'easter is hitting the northeast coast today----hopefully the last one of the season!

The kids' visit was chaotic, busy, exhausting & fun! It was great having everyone together. Found out my baby girl (in San Diego) really missed family & friends something fierce. Loves living in SD though - she just wants mom a little closer by. Glad I had already booked flights to spend Easter week out there. Lyn, I'll probably be touching base with you if you're in town the week before Easter.

Have the travelin' van at the house now for the summer (it will come, won't it?). I think last night is the last time I'll have to plug in the heater at night should stay above freezing according to the 10-day forecast - maybe longer. Hope everyone else finally comes out of the deep freeze soon.

Well, I'd better get going.

We are starting to prep for our rescheduled FL trip the first week of May. We are driving and staying in our favorite hotel in a small beach front suite with two balconies! Trying to put together a list now so we'll remember things like beach chairs and a cooler... it's not a beach vacation without a cooler!!

It's chilly in Ocala this morning. It was 41 when I got up and with the wind chill, it felt like 35. The heater is back on and probably will be for the rest of the day. Tomorrow we'll be back in the 70's.

Good morning!
My laptop crashed the other day so I am on my Nook for now. Will be getting a new laptop today hopefully!

Only 20 this morning but will get near 40 this afternoon. Will have highs in the 40's for the next week, with 55 on Sunday! Then a snowstorm next week. It is still March, tho

Picking up my dad to run some errands and breakfast, and then off to Wallyworld for some shopping for me Need to get a kayak carrier kit for my Jeep. Should get the kayak in the next week (ordered from WM site to store).

Good morning all. Snow on the roof this morning but none to speak of anywhere else. But blue sky and sun and cold temps. Can't have it all, I guess! Sounds like lots of trip planning going on. An optimistic group of travelers! Spring will come! Not much happening here today, need to run to Lowes for some new latches for kitchen cupboard doors and a couple of hooks to hang up some things in the bathroom. Then maybe lunch at my favorite Mexican place. The boys haven't been out for a ride for awhile so will probably take them with me. They love to go. But first another cup of coffee! Had a good conversation with cousin--she's in "boot" now & getting around a bit better. We agreed that I'll be free to move about the country come Monday! Don't know if that's when I'll leave, & then will still spend a few more days with Sis. So, Lyn, maybe a gtg for us? Or would you like to gtg in Q'zite with some of the others? Insurance question: Can one get insurance on an RV only? An acquaintance wants to ditch her car & get a Trek, but can't find a company that will insure the Trek as an only vehicle. Strange, since I know a couple of you were fulltime Trekkers????

Soos, hope the "inspection" goes well! You've sure had a time with all that renovation! Catherine, your baby misses you Will you be living in SoCal soon And WINTER still--and didn't it start in early Nov this year?

Good morning friends. Thanks so much for all the nice birthday wishes! Like I said on FB, I dont feel a year older. If fact, the opposite! Haven't been posting much because I havent been trraveling or even planning to. When the weather is warmer for good i will think about it. Finding spot for most of the summer at the lake and one son and family are goin to Panama City in July. So I will check into that. Lots going on here, hope everyone is well! Wendy

Today is a day of wind! I've been trying to take care of some things this morning, but had a visitor for over an hour and he wasn't in the best of moods.

Carol, never heard of an insurance company refusing to insure a vehicle like that. I only had my rv for several years and had no trouble insuring it. Originally there were only a couple insurance companies I'd use as a full timer, but more and more understand it now and have what's needed for us. Others insure full timers, but don't have all the types of coverage you really should have full time.

And there are people with RT's that have them as family vans.
