Sunday Morning in GA....

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Sun Mar 23, 2014 5:57 am

Good Sunday morning, Ladies.....It's about 62F right now and the temp is suppose to head towards 80F today.....with some sunshine and a chance of rain late this afternoon...And everything here is in bloom... the pollen is awful....especially the "pine pollen" which makes everything yellow/green and even Spinner sneezes with it...so taking the allergy pill and trying to stay inside as much as we can when the wind blows....but we both love sitting out in nice weather, so we do the best that we can... ;)

We've been busy with the comings and goings of our camper friends here....lots are heading north toward home....2 cookouts this last week.... good thing I do alot of walking with Spinner or I'd be gaining all that weight I loss back.... ;)

I've been trying to keep up with all of you in reading the posts...Lots of planning with travels and GTGS..new rigs for Beth, Mitch & Nancy..and new members....welcome to all of you...

All righty, then, the coffee is ready and cereal with strawberries on the table....help yourselves....

Have a great day, all...

Good Morning Lori, Donna and all,

Nice to see you start Coffee this morning Loii. Sounds like you two are having a busy week. And Donna, looks like you are going to have some fun "day camping" in some new places. Will have to let us know how they are. Hard to believe that those who went south for winter are starting to talk about heading north in another month or so. Seems like you just went south. I know my neighbors will be starting out around end of next month to come back and have already told me their mail should start coming back around end of April.

Nothing exciting like that going on around here. I'm heading down to Houghton Lake to a big craft store and buy a woodburning kit. Something I have wanted to try. Also stopping at Camping World to see if a word find puzzle book I spotted there last time I was there, might still be around. I love doing those kinds of puzzles and this one was made up of one puzzle for every state of the U.S. with all kinds of state things to find. Thought it might be kind of fun and educational at the same time. Wish I had gotten it back then. Oh well.

So, with that in mind, time to get dressed here, make my bed and hit the road. Going to be a beautiful day today, but cold. Looks like a bit of warmth coming in with some mix by weeks end. Can handle that. Even with the cold temps, -2 this morning, the sun is warm and is melting snow slow but sure.

You all have a wonderful day out there. keep the spring thoughts comig.

Good Morning All, I haven't been on MC for awhile as there is not much excitement in my life to report. The weather is the same every day, cool in the morning, 60ish, and sunny in the afternoon.

Yesterday they poured the cement, 6.500 cu ft, for the large building they are building across the street. They had five large cement trucks with the big arms parked all around the block. Then the trucks that mix the cement were lined up all day pouring their cement into the trucks with the long arms. Really long!!! The long arms reached down into the hole, about three stories, and were guided to drop the cement where the men wanted it. This is all so fasinating to me. I wish I knew more about construction of buildings.

While the above was going on, there was a science fair at the ball park one block away. Lots of traffic and no place to park!

This morning there is a "run" down here, so again, lots of traffic at 6 AM.

Such is the life of living downtown!!! lyn

Good Morning,
I'm grateful for our 33 degrees after hearing the temp at Sue's!! I hadn't thought of woodburning kits in years although we do have a bookcase right by my computer that has woodburning on the top and sides. Thought you might enjoy seeing a couple of pictures. We bought it at an auction years ago and it is quite detailed.
This is the boy side, a girl is on the other side but it is by the wall so no picture.

This is the top. It is hard to see but to the right is a little house by a windmill.

I'm going to post this quick I've lost it once.

What a neat bookcase. Love it.

Another gorgeous, sunny day here in the desert. I turned my heart on this morning for a few minutes. Need to make sure everything works right. When I have hookups ( tomorrow) I'll turn the ac on during the heat of the day. Will do my first dumping of this rig tomorrow, too. So many firsts lol

The Palo Verde trees are starting to bloom. I'll take my camera later and see about getting a picture. I love their gentle, small yellow blossoms.

Keep mine on standby - or in bypass mode - Peaches doesn't want to share it. Gotta love my phone typos. Had been doing so much better checking - this week - well, this week, am so much worse :)
