Brand new to this kind of thing - still shopping, as a matter of fact, for a Class C Winnebago-type vehicle. Widowed 50ish gal and dog wishes to get out of their humdrum existence and especially OUT OF SNOWY NY!!! This kind of thing looks fun - right up my alley. Can't wait to begin this new adventure!

Welcome from Northern California. You'll love this forum and the great ladies here. Lots here who are at the same stage as you looking and dreaming. My rig is an Itasca, made by Winnebago. Just right for my 2 dogs and me.

Where in W NY are you?? My home town is just over the PA state line from Olean...Haven't lived there in years, but do go there every summer to visit family...
Glad you found us here....Lots of info and of course, fun, advise, and in general, a great bunch of gals (with some great guys that tag along with us) who love the RVing lifestyle....jump in anywhere...any time....

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I live in Cherry Creek, NY, about 20 minutes from PA border, an hour west of Olean. Originally from Toronto, Canada. My husband retired and we moved here 4 years ago, out of the hustle and bustle of the city. I'd love opinions/advice on RV's. Been doing online research, but there's nothing like going straight to the source!
