Thursday Morning in GA....

Good morning, all...
Have a busy cooking/baking day ahead of me....CG GTG this evening to welcome some visiting family of our camp hosts, new Rvers in the CG, and weekly "food fest" for the rest of us.... Am picking up the slack for Claire, the better half of the camp hosting couple, so she can enjoy visiting with her daughter and son-in-law...Am making macaroni salad, a fruit salad, and baking her cake for her...."easy, peasy" to do, just takes awhile to get it all together...

Have had some nice sunny, warm days this week, but of course there's been rain, too...but I think we on the up swing and are heading, finally, to spring...thank goodness...

I've been in a funk, but things are looking up now...don't know what the issue is, but "all better" today...hope it lasts...

Okay, coffee is ready, orange muffins ready for you all....

Good Morning
Moving day again for me. Decided to take a slight detour to visit with Nan before I say good by to FL so I'll have one or two more nights, then back to AL.
At least it looks to be a beautiful day tho chilly. Will be down to freezing in north FL tonight. Guess I need to get use to the cold again.
There are signs of spring. Saw dogwoods and red bud trees starting to bloom on the way to Ocala. Some of the trees here are starting to leaf out.
Need to finish coffee and start packing up shortly.

Good morning everyone...cool but sunny here in Melbourne FL..
went over to say "see ya down the road" to MissMermaid...she will
be heading out this weekend...not sure what I will be doing today
besides giving Maggie girl a bath...been have leg pain for awhile
found a doc ...now waiting for call for them to do an ultrasound
on leg...been 3 days...wondering how long I should wait before
calling to see what's going on...

I just made a run to the dumpster and it is nippy out there! So very unlike the weather we've had the past couple days where we were sitting outside in our shorts. It's been nice having Sarah here and today she'll move on down the road to continue her journey. I hope those with the wintery weather start warming up and see signs of spring.

been just a little busy this morning getting my tax stuff done, its been so cut n dried over the years I always did it myself but seems I've
made two costly mistakes with state over the past few years and trying to get stuff together to have help at the senior center this time.
Have an appt on the 27th.
Went with daughter yesterday to watch Jack do his little swimming lessons, such a little fish, and I got lots of pictures and video. Then
we had dinner, chicken enchilada casserole, it was yumm, rice and blackbeans.

Way past morning but I've been busy all day! Friend that is buying a small trailer from me came over early and took me to breakfast before we went to pick up the trailer. I had taken it over to my tire guy to have tires put on yesterday. Then he hung around yakking for a while. He finally left, had lunch then had an appt. to get the mammy's grammed. I swear, I walked in there a size D and came out an A with pointy nipples! Man she mooshed those babies flatter than a frisbee!! I'm waiting to see if they pop out before I sell all my Victorias Secrets!!

Rest of the day has been quiet, nice long phone call with daughter while she waited at the school to pick up the younguns. All is well there. Have plane ticket, hotel and car all done for May trip to Fayetteville, Ar for the twins graduation. Seems just yesterday I was changing their diapers. sigh. I'll make a run over to Tulsa while I'm there to see family and a day down to Paris, Ar to see son if he's off of work that week. I'm hoping he will be able to come to the graduation.

Really late here, but it's been a busy day!

Went to get that kayak I was wanting to buy. But when I looked at it, it looked awfully huge (only 10 feet but looked very intimidating!) and I just couldn't imagine trying to haul that around down to the lake and back and up on my Jeep, not to mention paying more for a roof rack for it, etc. So I left the store without it and got back on line to figure out plan B. I ended up ordering a small Sevylor inflatable kayak, a paddle and life jacket all for $130. That way I can take it with me camping too, without much hassle.

It was a gorgeous day today, around 50 and sunny! Hopefully, the ice will be off the lakes by June 1st . Average ice-out here is April 15th, but last year it wasn't until May 6th I think. With 5 feet of ice, it could be awhile this year too.

Then I was on call (on my day off ) for work and got called in at 3pm and worked until 7pm. So am very tired tonight. Back to work first thing in the morning!
