in short, he had a stroke on christmas day. He finally got to go home
today, although he is still healing he can talk fine. The stroke caused
damage to his left side, he can shrug his left shoulder a little, and he
has a little movement in his left leg. He has to go back 3 times a week
for rehab, and he did fall a few times at the hospital thinking he could
do something but then find out he couldn't. Yesterday they taught him
how to transfer himself from his wheelchair into the car seat to ride home.
He also is diabetic now and they found out his wife is also diabetic too
so at least meal plans will be the same for both of them. He had lost
20 lbs last week but they wanted him to loose more, he was way over
weight.
Hope just getting out of the hospital and home in familiar surroundings
he will continue to work on his recovery. Prayers are working, thanks
for all of yours.
