Good morning, all.....Did you remember to "Spring Forward" this morning??? ;) Maybe this has something to do with my sleep problem....my body just likes the "spring forward" time thing....

Yesterday we had a great time with friends and had some great food....today will be recovering and resting...watching the race, and enjoying the warmer and sunny weather finally....

Coffee's done....help yourselves...

Safe travels for those on the road and have a great day, all!!!! ;)

Good morning Lori, Vera & all who join in later...

Decided the tme shift would work in my favor this year since I've been waking up around 4 anyway lately, now I'll wake up around 5.

Not making much headway on getting the house ready for the kids coming - so many things I'd like to do, so little time... Oh well, I've decided to not worry about anymore painting, just focus on making sure their rooms are ready & doing some baking. Can't wait to have everyone home - miss having my kids with me sooooo much. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the freedom & lack of them depending on me, but miss them all the same. I guess this is just the natural progression of life.

Taking a little time to catch up on adventures of everyone here. So appreciate the posts & blogs! Making my list for when I can more freely roam. :D

CArol, I hope the shingles are getting better so you can move on with your plans. That was a bum deal on what happened at your house that adds to your stress - hope things even out for you - you're over due... :D
Ava, hang in there - truly can't wait to meet you down the road - you are a strong woman - looking forward to the day when you post that you are in your own space again.
Hope everyone else who is struggling with colds, rain, wind or anything else heals & soon feel the warmth of the sun shinning on them.

Ready for my second cup of coffee.
Safe travels for everyone out there.
Take care,
Catherine

good morning ladies :D
catching up on some laundry that didn't get done yesterday and then I'm pulling out the vacuam cleaner to get some cleaning done.
Then of course I'll spend some time surfing the internet for future places to go and hangout for a day or two, and I just might start
with next weekend cause I'll need a stress release after this week of being stuck at home with no gas and no funds until friday. Life
sometimes isn't fair but we do learn some lessons from it all. ( at least we are suppose to ) I've gotten so used to taking a nap in my car
everyday at work and its really quite comfortable, I might even plan on doing that next Saturday night. Maggie would be fine with that
too :D .
But, for the week I've decided I would get ALL of my old papers sorted and shredded. I have two small boxes, two shoeboxes and one
other (rolling file) to sort through. Its a chore I hate cause I don't like the smell of old paper and it makes me feel so dirty but I'll just
push myself and get it done. I need to get it all down to just fit in the rolling file.
On to a better attitude....
ya'll have a great day and be safe. Hope your getting some good weather in your area so we can all have some smiles. :D

Good Morning! I think daylight savings time will work in my benefit! I’ve been waking up an hour before I need to get up anyway! It’s supposed to get up to 60 today! I already have my comforter and blanket washed and on the clothesline. Next load is my jeans! I like to wash them inside out and line dry them because they tend to hold their color better.

I’ve gone out to the kid’s house several times this week to have some cuddle time with Bronc. I have yet to see him with his eyes open! :( However I guess he does keep them wide open during the night for several hours! Probably because someone is holding him all day (yes I’m to blame too) and when his little butt hits the sheets he’s thinking “Hey..this ain’t right!” Ashley’s mom went home yesterday so I will probably have a chance to watch him in the future. DH asked me last night if I was jealous that she was here! The answer “no absolutely not”. When the boys were born it was my mom that I wanted to help, not my mother-in-law. I’m sure that Ashley felt the same way. I swear to God that I will not be a Marie Barone!

Not much else happening. That’s why I enjoy living my life vicariously through the rest of you! I read posts during the week but seldom post myself until weekends.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Hello everyone!

I missed morning but have a sick hubby in the house and have been tending to him. Nan was here for a couple days and she just pulled out. She suggested Mucinex for Steve's chest congestion, so I just got back from the grocery store with a package for him to try. Sure hope this works. Sarah is supposed to arrive tomorrow and I am anxiously awaiting her visit. I'll give Kathleen a call and see if she can meet up with us for a GTG while Sarah is here.

The weather has warmed up and the sun is shining. Sure wish I could bottle this up to those still suffering with the cold and snows of winter.

Have a good Sunday everyone!

Its actually almost Monday morning on eastern daylight saving time but I probably will not be back on line before Monday night.
The drive up to Rainbow Springs on Friday was a hard one. Not only was it unusually cold and windy, my back was hurting within the first half hour and agony by the time I got here. Think I might have done a little more damage in fall than originally thought. Better after two nice sunny days here and lots of aspirin. Hope tomorrows relatively short drive doesn't irritate it more.
I do have a few photos to post of our (Linda and Sandy plus me) stay at Rainbow. Will try to get them loaded tomorrow night as next campground has free Internet (I think). Most of the sites here are exceptionally nice and all have full hook ups; first FL state park where I've found such and the only one with heat in bath house.
Sorry Steve in under the weather, Irmi. Will be careful not to disturb him while I'm there. Looking forward to seeing you and hopefully Kathleen.
I've been off line for few days but will try to play catch up over next couple of days.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!

Sarah I hope you will feel better again soon, as you were making such god progress with your walks lately!

Carol, I am hoping your shingles will run its course sooner rather than later, and that you will be able to get your eyes fixed as you had planned before the virus hit you.

Busy down here at the Orlando house getting it updated, painted, soffits replaced, and more.

Sun is warm now, and it's only 25 above zero back in my northern home.

Happy trails to all!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
